We came here for the first time on Wednesday for a date night and it was a blast! After the safety spiel, he spent the time helping us find our marks so that we would hit the board every time.....and it worked! That's it, people. They handle everything else. They're punctual, friendly, informative, incredibly fun and yeah, you will need to sign a waver because this game is not for the faint of heart and claustrophobes should probably sit it out. So what's it about? The pictures provide decent context, but as a participant, you'll begin by squeezing your torso into a giant plastic orb which straps you in by the shoulders, and you'll grip some handles. The view is exactly what you'd imagine, sort of mottled and trippy (you're staring through a couple layers of lining). After teams have been divvied the 10 minute game is on, and believe me, that's all you'll need for a workout that blends something reminiscent of Jackie Chan's Drunken Master with adolescent futbol, harmless Gladiator glee and an accidental goal or two. Prepare to breathe deeply and take a breather, and if you're a hot-blooded midwestern transplant like me, that cocoon will get sweat-soaked. It's cool, though. The vessels are cleaned between matches. A fantastic team-building exercise, this is perfect for corporate events, birthday parties, ex-lover angst expulsion or silly Yelp gatherings, you can't go wrong with this non-blood sport. We called to schedule a practice session. I was told "you don't have to book, it's first-come-first-serve, except Thursday that's when we have tournaments." So, I took my niece on a different day of the week. Got there at 1pm. The staff looked at me like I was CRAZY just walking in expecting to shoot. I was embarrassed. I told them that I tried to schedule and was told "don't have to," I explained it's hard to just plan a time to take the niece out and this is her bday and her bday gift. They told us to come back tomorrow "around 5pm" to shoot for 45mins and they would comp the rental, and we would just pay for the instructors time. So, we went back the next day. Instructors were GREAT, equipment was great. Went from flinging the arrow on the ground to hitting my target head-on (niece obviously better than me). The environment was friendly. We get to checkout and it's $90. I don't question it. I get home and my partner says it was only supposed to cost $45... they forgot to comp. So he calls, he's upset, and they end up refunding the whole amount. Look, I'm not trying to get free things. The planning was inconvenient, staff communication a little inconsistent. But the experience was a HIT. Overall, I was so thankful my niece had an amazing experience that I didn't think twice when it came out to $90. For the instructional sessions and equipment-- that's a good price. Was even happier that it ended up being free. If there is one thing I can say: they make things right. 9/10 recommend.

Not only are they amazing at coaching but they make you feel at home. Clearly the league promotes the baseball culture of parents serving kids, although the kids don't always understand the impact this brings to their baseball experience, the outcome is obvious. East dale produces winners! The support from parents allows the coaches and staff to do their thing. "It takes a village" to produce quality baseball players. Great job East dale!

They only have porta potties but they do survice them regularly. Parking fills quickly.. so come early.
