The color was rich and beautiful and was a great complement to the mild but well-bodied flavor. My husband had the Hoppy Birthday IPA and also enjoyed it. Here's where it gets really weird...he liked that IPA so much that he gave other beers on their list a shot. He VERY RARELY ventures out of IPA world. He was so blown away by the quality of the brew that he wanted to actually taste the others. He ended up with the Ghost Stout. It was also a beautiful color and tasted amazing!! The folks there were so genuine and welcoming and weren't overbearing. It felt natural and comfortable. The grounds and structure were gorgeous. When you're thinking of heading to enjoy a brew in Corrales you absolutely MUST give this place a shot. You can bring your own food as well. Come support a small family-run brewery.

The service was excellent. They were all so kind. What a beautiful property. The grounds had many outdoor seating, covered, some under big trees. An area to the back that looked like the perfect place for a wedding. While I didn't explore the entire place, it was so pretty. Seats everywhere inside, workers greeting guests and checking on them. Food came out hot. Sadly I didn't take a photo of my Brie sandwich but it was very good. Breakfast is served all day too. I believe the sign said they open at 8 or 8:30. They do not serve alcohol. It's a nice relaxing spot to have or share a nice meal with friends and more. Give a local spot a chance, I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

But one of the kickers for me personally was the fact that the coffee (which was nice and hot) was delivered and set at the table directly (within 5 inches) of a 6 month old sitting in a high chair. I immediately blocked the child's access to this hot beverage, moving it, only to then watch the next server bring all the hot food to the table and do the very same thing. By the way, the spaces in front of the adults was fully accessible and open. I frankly just think the employees/manager/owner, do not think what the experience is or should be from the perspective of a customer. Also, just to close and reiterate my point, at no time were we greeted, thanked or even smiled at. It was snobby, not friendly, or welcoming. Frankly, its just too bad; such a great opportunity to impress was not taken. It's the lovely location that allowed me to give 3 stars, based on the service, customer experience, it's a 1 star.

And it is rentable for private events (suitable for a church setting). It is an absolutely beautiful setting for a wedding and can seat 150. Throughout the year there are art shows and monthly speakers - all free to attend. There is also a small "gift shop": the docents run a table with books, cards, and items baring San Ysidro and the scene of his miracle - an angel ploughing his farm land for him.

Just waiting in line to get into the venue, there were two people being attended to by the medics For what would appeared to be heat stroke or heat exhaustion. It took 20 minutes just to get our mimosas, and our waters were forgotten and didn't come out until another 10 minutes later. Our food took about 40 minutes, which felt excessive given how few people were there. Even more frustrating, my friends' meals came out about 10 minutes before mine. There's really no reason meals at the same table shouldn't be served together. The food itself was just okay. The only standout was the French toast, which was actually really good--and honestly the only reason this review isn't one star. I also ordered coffee and was told they don't carry creamer, which is surprising for a place offering brunch. Our waitress rarely checked on us throughout the meal, which added to the overall lack of service. My companion hates vinegary salad dressings, but the side salad that came with the Tamale, was lovely, just the right amount of oil and umami flavors, and only a hint of maybe lemon? for the acid. we both enjoyed it quite a lot which is saying something for a salad. The tamale. was cute in its pooked open wrapper. we left it inside and quite enjoyed picking out the delightful masa. my only complaint was i think we should have asked for spoons. as a fork is not the best way to pick a tamale out of the wrapper. (or we could have dumped it out. but once again it was cute as served. I would have preferred meat to the tamale. but really enjoyed it as it was too. Lastly on the way out we got a choke cherry tart, and a butterscotch bunt cake to go.. which we ate later.. both were great! We will need to return and try more dishes. and the desert Empanada, (they were sold out) and likely i will update to a 5 star. Fyi looks like they kinda run as two different kitchens, Snapdragon Tea, in the mornings, and Mila's Mesa at night. definitely going to have to go and try out one of the tea time reservations.

And the Peruvian chicken is to die for! Other favorites of mine are the blue cornbread and the biscochitos. A couple of times I've been pleasantly surprised by the music performances Mila's Mesa offers in its simple and homey atmosphere. For me, the attentive service from Emma and Alex - my servers on different occasions - complemented the excellent food and warm environment. Can't recommend Mila's Mesa enough! I think it's a great new asset and option in Albuquerque 's Nob Hill!
