The concrete was level with a nice broom finish. Over the next several days as the concrete cured white spots formed on the surface, the color faded drastically and surface shrinkage cracks formed to the point it looks like alligator skin. I had Terry come out to check it out and he assured me when the slab fully cured all the defects would diappear. I tried contacting him again with no response. We now will consider seeing if we can paint, stain,or figure some other method to cover the slab. Alot of money spent on a patio that looks 20 years old. I do not recommend T&R CONCRETE

I had a patio poured by T&R Concrete two years ago. While I am happy with the way the project…read moreturned out, my husband had to take multiple days off of work to babysit the workers who did not know English. The project would have been screwed up had my husband not been there. Ted promised me that he would seal patios every two years for customers who did big projects with him and that it would be about $200. It's been two years since my project was done, so eleven weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment for them to come out and seal it. Robin made the appointment and said she would send over the bid. She never did. A week before my appointment, she called and said the workers were behind and made a new appointment for three weeks later. Again, she said she would send over the bid but never did. A week and a half before the appointment, she called asking if the job could be done the next day and asked me to send over the bid because she couldn't find it. I called her back saying I had never received it. She said she would send the bid later that night, but she didn't. I emailed Ted the next day asking him for the bid. I even calculated the area of the patio that would need to be sealed. He said he would email the bid later that afternoon but didn't. The next day, I sent an email saying I still hadn't received the bid. No response. Yesterday was supposed to be my second rescheduled appointment. No one showed up. The night before, I called and left a message asking if they were still going to come and to send over the bid. No response. This is terrible customer service. I am so disappointed. The sad thing is I recommended this company to a friend of mine. Plus, I was going to hire them to have a French drain redone and parts of my sidewalk fixed. That's definitely not going to happened after I have been treated so poorly these past 11 weeks. I guess I am not worth their time, so I will hire someone else to do all of that work.

Where to begin: my shabby patio, which I had thought was only glazed with clear sealer (Nope!) Jay and Andrew gave me a very fair bid and were on it immediately. Three men worked TIRELESSLY, sun up to sun down, several days in a row. They came back, and then they came back again...watching them apply a power washer to stubbornly-adhered patches of glaze on concrete-- standing in one spot for HOURS to get it done-- about made ME mental, but they did not stop until the job was done. Many, many, many thanks for my new patio. LOOK NO FURTHER, and USE THIS COMPANY. They are decent humans above all!!

Overall unhappy with my experience. The owner was a good guy…read moreand professional but one of the workers was rude and very unprofessional. He even said he knew we were going to be a problem client because we went out and asked questions and confirmed what was agreed upon during the bid. There were several things that were brought up during the bid that the workers wanted to do differently, one was that they were supposed to remove a concrete pad outside our door, they said they would remove it and then decided not to, saying that by leaving it there it would strengthen the new patio? Turns out, it is cracking all along where the old pad is. They also charged us to remove the old concrete pad, which they didn't remove, and didn't refund us the money that they were paid to remove the old pad. The other was working around a window well, which required them to modify the slope of the pad. It didn't seem like they put down the agreed upon depth of the base gravel. They said they used 5000 psi concrete but what we found out is they used 4000 psi then added something (Portland cement) to increase it to 5000. They didn't clean up very well and we still have concrete on my driveway from where they mixed. They said they would clean up the concrete splatter from the driveway, fences, and alongside the house but didn't and my wife spent over five hours scrubbing most of it off. The framing was done poorly, we have gaps and significant spillage. We had to chisel out some sprinkling pipes because of the spillage. We also pinned back some pipes that we didn't want to have concrete poured on, and told them to leave those pipes where they were because we didn't want concrete on top of them. They unpinned the pipes, threw them back in the ground, and poured on them which now makes them useless and we can no longer use them for what we originally planned for. We asked for the patio to be a certain width and they came up about 6 inches too short all along the entire length of the patio but still charged us for the length that we had originally asked for but didn't get. The first time our stairs were poured they had concerns about the concrete and so they ripped it out, so credit to them on that. The second time they poured they removed the frame too early from the steps which caused an entire side of the steps to crack and slope to the one side. We didn't see it until it had set as they had it covered. Later I found out they knew about it but didn't want to do it again and still went ahead with the patio pour. It's very noticeable and has made us lose our footing on several occasions causing falls. Initially, they didn't want to do anything to fix it, then they said if they fixed it it would look bad, then we finally agreed on a slight discount of only $500 when the stairs themselves cost $2500 and will cost us, even more, to have them removed since they need to be redone. In less than 2 months we started seeing cracks. At the time I write this it's been less than 11 months. People are commenting that the stress lines are crooked and done oddly. The first cracks are getting wider, we have cracks in new areas, one is on the area of the stairs that was done wrong and one that is over 6 feet long in the center of the patio and getting longer and wider.

The quality of their work seems to be exceptional, and their mentality is to get the job done well and within a good timeframe. We hired Woodward to complete a new driveway project including the addition of an RV pad which included the construction of a rock retaining wall in addition to pouring a concrete retaining wall. Both turned out really well, and I'm confident that we have a product that is high quality, and will stand the test of time. It is clear that they paid attention to the small details, which is evident in the final product. My only concern about recommending Woodward Co is that it will be more difficult to hire them in the future if they are too busy. :-D Please contact me if you would like additional information. Joey has a "can do" attitude and understands that big changes can bring some uncertainty as to what would look best. The grass in my front yard was dead, so I decided to xeriscape it. I am getting older, so mowing has become a struggle since both the front and back yard are huge. I changed my mind a couple of times, and he took it in stride. He understood that this was a big decision. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote for the job as I had looked at others that were more expensive. It was well within my budget, and less expensive than I expected. They got the job done in a timely manner, and his employees were just as friendly, respectful, and professional as Joey is. We moved the boulders around some until I got the look I was looking for, and his guys did it with a smile on their face. I would recommend them, if you are looking for someone to xeriscape your yard. I have had so many positive remarks from my neighbors who say they love it! I even got a suggestion from Miguel (project manager) to add some lights, which I will be looking into. Kudos to Joey and his team for a job well done. Definitely a 10 out of a 10!!
