They came to cut down a VERY large Evergreen pine tree--72 years old and about 100 ft tall. They worked with the power company because our electrical connection to the power lines prohibited chopping it down easily. When the power company missed appointments set to address the issue, it threw a monkey wrench into their ability to take care of us as they wanted. But they weren't thwarted. Though it took a more circuitous route, they effectively took huge branches off, then felled the main trunk. Finally, they cleaned up all the leavings. They were excellent at what they did. They exhibited creativity in crafting solutions for such a daunting problem in a small space. They were very respectful in all their communication. We would highly recommend this team. They consistently parked in front of my driveway, even after being asked several times to avoid blocking the driveway. This resulted in forcing us to drive over our lawn to make a visit to the emergency room with an injured small child. Six months later they still refuse to repair my lawn strip and one sprinkler head they damaged by driving over the area numerous times. Even after showing them photos of their equipment on our lawn and driveway they refuse to acknowledge they were there. They may do a good job on your landscaping, but you won't be popular with your neighbors.

It's like pulling teeth trying to get this company to do anything. They don't respond to emails,…read moreand it takes them nearly a week to respond to voicemails, if they do at all. We finally got a hold of them on the phone, and they agreed to come out a few days later to fix the sprinklers on our rental property. We'd already done a lot of work for them by finding the problem area and digging out around it. They said they would be there Friday or possibly Monday, but we didn't hear anything after that. We called multiple times, and got no answer. Finally got a hold of them on Tuesday, and the receptionist/scheduler, Sierra, told us that the "sprinkler individual" didn't have time and couldn't get to it either of those days. No call to let us know, no explanation, and no apology or offers to come out another day. We asked when they could come out again, and they said Friday, and the same thing happened. We rescheduled 4 different times, and they made us wait ANOTHER WEEK between each new appointment. Each time we didn't receive any sort of call or follow up afterwards, and had no idea what had happened. Because it was a rental we had to keep sending people out to see if they actually did anything. Finally, our property manager told us that the hole we dug ourselves around the sprinkler was filled, many weeks after we initially called Utah Valley Lawn Care. Still, no follow up or contact from the company at all. Two weeks later we got a very basic bill (sent to the rental property, not us), and it didn't list anything other than parts and labor, and with different rates than we'd agreed upon. I don't have any proof that they did any work, or what they did. We still paid the bill because it looks like our pipe was replaced, and we were tired of dealing with them, but it was definitely not worth it. We will never use them again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
