Several months ago, I began experiencing mechanical issues with my van. The dealership diagnosed…read morethe problem and quoted approximately $3,800 for repairs. Hoping to save money, I brought the vehicle to Hogan's for a second opinion. Their estimate was $2,775.57 ,  and they seemed confident they could handle the repairs.   Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved after the first repair. I returned and was told that an additional component had failed, resulting in another $588.57 charge. The original symptoms remained unchanged, including engine fumes entering the cabin.   I then returned to the dealership, paid for additional diagnostics, and was informed that the prior repairs had not been completed properly. Because I had already invested so much money at Hogan's, I gave them another opportunity to correct the issue. After a third visit and an additional $453.59, the problem still persisted. Each time, responsibility was denied and I was told something different had broken. I also felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. On top of all this, Hogan's removed the engine splash shield and did not reinstall it. The dealer had to replace it.   Ultimately, the dealership completed the repairs successfully. In total, I spent more than $7,000 between the two businesses, with the majority going to Hogan's, for what should have been roughly half that amount if repaired correctly the first time.   Based on my experience, Hogan's may be suitable for routine services like oil changes or tires. However, I would caution others when it comes to more complex mechanical repairs
