We had worked it out to get our flights to arrive back at Lambert Airport at around the same time and then we could all go home together... then ... in walks "Murphy's Law!" Our flight was delayed causing us to miss our connection back to Lambert. If my daughter's plane arrives on time then no one will there to pick her up! While waiting on standby for our next flight back to Lambert Airport, I looked up transportation for the Ofallon, IL area. SuperShuttle didn't service the Ofallon, IL area. Then, I found R&R Transport. I called and Royce picked up. I told him our circumstance and that my daughter would be landing within the next couple of hours. He responded and arrived at Lambert at the time my daughter's plane was to arrive. RELIEF!!! Murphy's Law was still hanging around because then my daughter texted us and told us her plane was delayed at her connection and she'd be arriving into Lambert about 45 minutes late. Oh no, Royce is going to leave, I thought. I called Royce and told him my daughter's plane was delayed by 45 minutes. By then he was already at Lambert. He told me he'd wait and make sure my daughter got home safely. I was so grateful. Finally, the other half the family arrives in Lambert about 3 hours later. Royce texted me to let me know my daughter was home. My daughter texted me the same and told me Royce was funny and really nice. What a professional! What a great customer experience!!! My husband paid him for waiting at the airport and then his regular rate for the transport from the airport to our house. We will always use Royce and R&R Transport! You should too!

He borrowed $400 from a lady in a retirement home with no intentions of paying her back. He said he would pay her back on the 3rd of sept.2016 but then called her this morning to tell her he's broke and will not be returning the money. That is wrong and predetory behavior. I would highly advise all people to avoid this man like the plague. He has been banned from our building and the police will be called if he is seen in this building. Regardless of whether anyone calls him or not. I'm sure this is not the first time he has done this. Hopefully I will not regret posting this but I feel it's important to warn others so they don't make the same mistake. It is not at all appropriate to even ask clients to borrow him any money at all.

It's been years since I've used Mid America. I used to use them often when I was traveling a lot,…read morebut I stopped flying about 10 years ago and haven't needed rides to the Metrolink to go to the airport. At the time I was using their service, the driver I would get was really funny. I used to ask for him by name. At that time, the cabs were used cars that the drivers smoked in. Not real pleasant to ride in, but the service was good. Today, I needed a ride to Meinecke Car Care Center where I had left my car over the weekend. I googled taxis, called a couple places and got outrageous price quotes ($18 for a 1.2 mile drive). Mid America did not come up in the search, so I searched for it by name. Voila! There it was -- still in business! Yay! I was quoted a price of $6.50 or $7. Perfect! So, this morning, when I was ready to go, I called and ordered a cab. The cab was newer model SUV, smoke-free and very roomy. This was my driver's second day of driving on his own. He was prompt and helped me get my basket of laundry in the cab. (Meinecke is next door to a laundromat, so I had decided to get a load done while waiting for the oil change.) He was very polite -- a lot of "yes, ma'am" "no ma'am" which prompted me to ask if he grew up in the South or had been in the military -- both, it turns out. He was very pleasant and personable. He helped carry my basket to the door of the laundromat when we got there. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Same-Day Cancellation - No Refund After Multiple Attempts…read more I had a reservation with Once Upon a Party Bus LLC for January 10, 2026. In the week leading up to the event, I made multiple attempts to confirm details and received no response. Then, just a few hours before the scheduled pickup on the day of the event, I was informed they would not "be able to make it." This left me scrambling to arrange transportation for 20 people with almost no notice. I was forced to book another company at a higher cost, resulting in a significant additional out-of-pocket expense. I requested: * A refund of my $100 deposit After receiving no response, I followed up multiple times - still no response. The company posted on Facebook that the business had closed and that refunds would be issued within 10-15 business days after January 12. That timeframe has now passed. I followed up again on February 2 requesting a concrete update and received no response. I also attempted to request the refund via Cash App but was unable to process the request. As of today, I have not received any refund or communication. The same-day cancellation and the failure to issue promised refunds or respond to repeated professional outreach are extremely concerning. If anyone has additional contact information for the owners or insight into how refunds are being handled, I would appreciate the information.
