A year and a half ago my computer broke down. I took to X Computers (also known as HIT Computers)…read moreupon recommendation. I'll never make that mistake again. My Hard Drive was fried, and needed to be replaced. I also asked own to look at fans and check the overall performance. I got my computer back 1 week later with a bill for a $100. All he did was swap out my 120 Gig HD for an 80 one (which I could have done on my own for much much less) He also charged me $40.00 to install windows, which I should mention was a hacked copy and would not allow me to make any of the needed updates or install any of my old programs. So I needed to buy buy a new copy of Windows (another $100 out the window). I emailed the owner and he never responded. I really should have gone to the BBB, but since they aren't registered it probably would not have helped. Companies like this pray on your technological ignorance to take advantage of you. So by all means, go here if you want to get ripped off.

So thankful for HIT Computer aka X Computer Software! I made the mistake of thinking PC Helpers…read morewould be the best place to go to get my computer repaired. Boy was I wrong! My mother and I both took our computers to PC Helpers for a free diagnostic. Their diagnosis was absolutely wrong for both computers and if we would have followed their diagnosis we would have wasted hundreds, maybe even a thousand dollars, buying two new computers, which they made clear they wanted us to buy from them. We didn't trust their diagnosis and went to HIT/X Computer for a second opinion. He quickly fixed both computers for a combined total of $130 dollars and they are working just fine. I have to say that in the case of my computer, a friend of mine who works in the computer industry, suggested the problem might be the power supply. I told PC Helpers this and after their diagnostic, they told me it was not the power supply but the motherboard (MOBO). They proceeded to tell me since that was the case, a new computer was the best solution and then they tried to sell me on buying a new one from them. I declined and I'm glad I did. I took the computer to HIT/X Computer and guess what the problem was? Yeah, the power supply! Cost to fix...$55. Thank you HIT/X Computer! Needless to say, my mother and I won't be visiting PC Helpers again. Mr. Chang of HIT/X Computer is a very nice and professional man. No problems with him at all. I'm glad he's around and I highly recommend HIT/X Computer as the first place to go for your computer repair needs.
