Instead they offered me half of what I paid for the item on a Lowe's store card, even though the warranty said I was entitled to an equivalent unit. They claimed they did not have an equivalent unit, but would not even give me my purchase price back to put towards a new unit. To make a long story short, I went to a different Lowe's in Beckley and they gave me a new unit without me even having to ask. I will no longer patronize the Lewisburg Lowes.

This Lowe's is a stone's throw away from Lewisburg and White Sulphur Springs and a bit over an hour from Snowshoe. It's extremely well organized and clean as a whistle. I bought one of the largest professional grills they had in stock. The bad part was that it weighed about 400 lbs. No problem. I had three workers put it in my Jeep. Incredible service. Impressive.

We have used them for all of our paint needs for the house, and have been happy with the quality of the products. If they don't have something on hand, they are generally happy to order it. They have basically everything you expect from a small town hardware store and then some. It also operates a little as a museum of natural history --the mom, Gemma, collects minerals and meteorites, as well as historical artifacts. It's worth a gander for that alone.

Again, clearly over 50 feet but charged me not a penny more. If you are in the area, its worth spending 20 minutes or so wondering the aisles and finding things you'll never find in Home Depot or Walmart. But seriously, they are always super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. 2nd, it is so much more convenient when you need to pick up just a couple of things as opposed to driving to the neighboring town to hit up one of the big hardware stores. Besides, I like to support the local economy in Blacksburg as much as possible.
