I have 3 children ages 6, 9, and 11, who need bikes. Where would the best place to go to get reasonable priced good bikes for kids?

My suggestion is to go on som Facebook- "Buy Nothing " sites- ppl are ALWAYS giving children's bikes away. and if you type… Read more

Do you have any adult tricycles? I am rehabbing after a long stay in the hospital. I enjoy bike riding but am unsure of my balance. I cannot afford a fall so I would like an adult trike. It does not have to be a new one. Please let me know.

i saw on Amazon a kit for a 2 wheel adult bike to add Large "Stability" ( training) wheels- check it out!!!

But yesterday , my 17 yo daughter brought the bike up there for me, because she accidentally bent the front derailer. Even after she was explaining that it was for her dad, the service person repeatedly told her that there was a ton wrong with the bike (not at all) and the whole bike should be replaced. This is six months after a tune up. From them. Where nothing was ever stated that anything is wrong. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG, I've been riding it constantly, and the jerk salesman tried to take advantage of a couple of kids. It is a $600 bike with a bent derailer, and we were told we should just replace the whole thing? Um. No. I remember when Eddies came to that location, and was happy of their success after 20 some years, even if their prices are ridiculously high. Not so much anymore, sounds like they just want to prey on people for cash, or they only train their staff for commission. I'll never know, as I won't be setting foot in there again. There are a few other family owned bike shops in the area who might actually not be cool with ripping kids off. Shame on you.
