Last week, I brought an older bike into Century Cycle and asked for help. The bike, not been…read moreridden since last Fall, and had two flat tires. A young man named Connor P, helped get it out of my car and inspected the tires. In his opinion, the tires were okay, so he took the bike inside CC and filled up the tires. He explained that inner tubes are permeable and can lose air if not used. While inspecting each tire for leaks, he also adjusted my brakes. Ultimately, Connor's opinion was that the bike was fine and to go ahead and test ride it, which we did. Yes, Connor - the bike is fine. I am writing this review based of my very positive experience with Century Cyle (Connor P) and will recommend to all my friends that they consider Century Cyle for their future biking needs. Thank you, Connor - and Century Cycle. Brian G

I also had to buy extra inner tubes for the ride -- and when they didn't have my size, the guy said the next size up would work (didn't -- too big). I had a TON of mechanical problems during the ride and had to be SAG-ed in at several points. Nothing on the bike was working right -- and one of the mechanics on the ride told me that Joy Machines should have noticed and fixed several of the issues (or at least warned me about them). I decided to give them a try after a friend recommended them -- and it was a terrible mistake. Never again.

Marty's Cycle actually held a "bike clinic" in the development where we live. My wife was…read moreinterested in an adult "trike" as she doesn't feel as steady anymore on a two wheeler. Their staff was very friendly, had a trike she could try, and put no pressure to buy anything at the "clinic". Later that day, my wife decided that was the bike. We called Marty and ordered it over the phone. He said it would take less than a week. During the week we drove to his shop "just to look" for a bike for me too. Marty offered suggestions, allowed me to try the bike I was drawn to, left my wife and I alone to talk without any sales pressure, and just made us feel comfortable without any pressure. In the end, I bought a nice cruiser type bike (Electra "Townie"). Today, less than a week from placing the "trike" order, both bikes were delivered to our home (for free). Bottom line is, Marty's may not be the cheapest. But, the service (free assembly/adjustments, year warranty), knowledge (about brands, types, etc), customer service (friendly, helpful, respectful) and quality (you do get what you pay for!) to me are worth it.
