I have made (and paid) for a reservation well in advance, thinking we'll get a BMW Touring, ended in a Mercedes E200 from 2013 or the like. Not terribly bad but not spectacular either for that price. Enough to say it took me two days to figure that moving the driver's seat back & forth is done from a lever under the chair and not any of the electric switches on the side. Couldn't believe Mercedes would be that cheap so for 2 days I tried every possible button on the dashboard hoping it will help move the chair, LOL.
It's classical trick they advertise new high end car models in the class, you rest assured you'll get "or similar" model for the same high price. They're banking big time on customers being tired after long hours flights. In the end I paid twice what I though I'll pay, there was no indication whatsoever about insurance at reservation time. At least didn't have to pay for unaccounted dents like others complain. read more
