Save yourself the hassle of a horrible trip-ruining experience! Pay extra to rent from anyone other than Sixt! I was told to return the car on a Sunday in Rotterdam; and the Sixt office in Rotterdam is closed on weekends, has no parking lot (or key return), and I was charged a whole extra day for returning the car late because of 2 hours trying to figure out how the hell to return the car! Even the Sixt Hotline didn't know how to return the car!
130 extra euros in charges after being mocked and ignored on top of this! The company doesn't even have a manager who can solve issues like this... their customer service strategy appears to dictate ignoring customers until they go away. read more
