Absolutely horrible experience! Made no effort to help or accept any responsibility for damaging property. Slow and lazy movers who drag out the hours and make you pay more. Constantly complained during the move. Scuffed up the bed really badly. Refused to put a lot of the items in their truck even though there was clearly plenty of remaining space. I usually don't write negative reviews because I don't want to hurt any business but his company really deserves it . I wish I could give them minus stars because of the terrible experience we had with the team sent to our place. The removalists were extremely argumentative and rude and highly inefficient. We ordered a team of 3 with a 16 tonne truck to move a three bedroom and a study house. They left one bedrooms furniture behind because they couldn't fit it in their truck that was horribly packed. We have a marble table that comes apart into 3 pieces which they wanted to charge us extra $150 for when their "head office" waived the fee to win our business. They argued with us for over 25 minutes and stood around doing nothing. After the head office called them to clear things out - they got pissed and worked extremely slowly with the driver completely giving up and not working at all. When they arrived to our new place we asked them to wear shoe covers which I clarified with the head office in advance as the whole house was steam cleaned they refused to do so. And argued for another 20 minutes - standing around doing nothing. Finally they came around to it and the driver again refused to work and was on his phone the whole time. And then they asked us to pay an hour before the job was finished. Usually I would have been ok with it but I was not going to pay for the hour they wasted arguing and sulking. No help from the head office. They stood around for another 30 minutes threatening us to take our stuff away if we don't pay. In the end we paid for 9.5 hours when they did 8 hours of work and left 20 minutes before the allocated time. The supervisor never called us and we never got a refund for the time difference. In addition to all of this they damaged our furniture. I have raised this with the head office and waiting for a response. Overall it was a terrible experience and I DONOT recommend this company to anyone. read more

Lets see... after costing me 3 times the price of the last move... which was a 30mins drive away as opposed to 100m down the street it turns out that a number of items were chipped in the move and the refrigerator was not working after it had been badly managed up some stairs. The 2 removalists were slow and really stretched their time out... basically taking the complete piss. After calling regarding their 'insurance' I was told that they are 'taking it seriously and are looking into it'. Now it is 2 months later and nothing. I have tried to contact them via the email on their website and it bounced back. This is an honest warning. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. There are far better and cheaper solutions. read more

Mater hired these fellows to drive their giant truck up to the Central Coast, pack up all the furniture and associated junk in a unit she'd just sold, and bus it back down to Sydney, where I supervised unloading at t'other end. Two young guys were driving/loading, Sebastian and another chap, and they were thoroughly pleasant young dudes. They went about their work quickly and without dawdling, were pleasant throughout and the best bit was their problem-solving without needing to be supervised, from finding a bunch of trolleys to use to innovative ways to unload in a cramped space. Highly recommend. Never thought I'd say that about movers, and yet here we are. Six brothers? More like six awesome. (Cumbersome, but you see what I was going for). read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write about my experience using Six Brothers removalists. Given I have 100 words to write this review here's a summary: - Truck was 5 hours late - No calls with updates - Walls in my new place were damaged when goods carried into my apartment - Driver didn't speak English so couldn't communicate - Driver urinated on my balcony on arrival - Should have been a 2 hour job, became 4 hour job - was charged $340 They are not a removals company, they just contract to random drivers. read more

Company was unreliable with booking time and cost. I was charged significantly more than the quote and had problems with drivers acting aggressive and unethical. 1 - the driver showed up 6pm - 2 hours after the time slot provided by the company - with the wrong truck and was unable to park and perform the service 2 - The company could not provide a same day solution and promised another driver for the following day 9am 3- The driver calls me the day next (not the company) to inform he is not going. 4- I call the company and they send another two drivers past 11 am. (By this time I had to cancel the end of lease cleaning which was already booked). 6- One of the drivers kept on trying to flirt with me while doing his job. He may have though it is ok to make a move on women clients but it is not. 7- while one driver was overly flirtatious, the other tried to charge twice the quoted price alleging that I added an address on route for the delivery of part of my belongings. Note that the total time was even less than quoted. The Quote was provided for 2 hours and total service was a bit less than that. 8- I asked to call the company to get understanding of the new price, but the driver did not want to allow me to make the call. By this time he was yelling and threatening me. 9- the company said they would not charge extra 200 as the driver requested me but they would charge extra 100 as the driver had to use stairs. However I informed about the stairs when requesting the quote hence there was no reasonable justification for the increase in price. 10 - I paid as I was scared and uncomfortable with the situation besides I did not want to deal further with the aggressive driver. I will never use this service provider again neither recommend to anyone. read more

Ordered 3 but they were so slow in their work, made repeated phone calls, broke pictures, dropped boxes, broke a computer, deeply scratched and gouged a dining table, smashed the patio light on the house we were vacating etc. In the end they demanded payment for 6 hours and wouldn't take no for an answer. Avoid at all cost! Booked at 10am but didn't show up until 3pm. Didn't even get any call or text notification until 12pm.

DO NOT HIRE!!!! - The men were originally very late and then they wanted to charge me from a time that they weren't even there. They called me when I was at my other house to tell me they were there. They wanted to charge me from 8am when I received the call at 8am, had time to do two loads of furniture from my car and also drive over to the other house. It was not until 8:15 that they started and the men wanted to get in an argument over this stating they were right as 'supposedly' only took two minutes for them to arrive which I have witnesses to prove that, that was not at all the case. Then they agreed to start the service from 8:15 and made it out like they were doing me a great service - The men were very slow in moving the furniture; I did 2 x loads as they were doing 1 load. At one stage I witnessed them literally carrying one bin from the truck to the house, which was not heavy. - They were sliding furniture across the floor - There were multiple marks left on walls in both houses, our major concern is in the new house as it is brand new with not one mark that now has multiple marks on the walls. - The men were asked to go faster by both me and the company when I rang up to complain half way through the move in which they did not. The younger of the two then approached me with a disgruntled tone asking why I didn't approach him directly. - The men were constantly on the phone - They were continuously talking in their language, which i thought was rude considering they can speak English. - They told me that they would pack the last two items in the truck and meet me at the new house in 20mins, they insisted on me leaving and then it took them 40 mins to arrive at the new house - I witnessed my furniture being dragged along the truck with no protection underneath. - My brand new lounge is covered in dust from being dragged down the corridor - I was charged for my items to be bubble wrapped, which they specifically told me was going to be bubble wrap as its the best form of protection when they just covered them in glad wrap without notifying me. - The washing machine has scratches up the sides - When I spoke to the boys about being unhappy with the service the younger boy got up in my face, pointing his finger and being aggressive towards me - When I spoke to the company they had remorse - I was told I had to pay for the service regardless of how disappointed I was and how unsatisfying the result was. - I then had to pay for 6 hours of service that should have only taken 4 hours as the house was all but empty because we had moved half of the house prior to the removalist's arrival. - They made me pay on the day for a service I was unhappy with. - When I complained I had to consistently follow-up on the complaint with calls that were never returned, emails that were never returned and when I did call I received attitude from the customer service lady. The complaint was then never resolved and I now have to go through fair-trading. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SERVICE AT ALL!!!!! read more

Despite telling their operations when booking that there is a wooden crate needs to be broken down and a crowbar is needed and call back to confirm the next day, their operations agreed to the request. The removalist failed to bring a crowbar and when ask if they are going to break down the crate, immediately they say NO. Have to call back their office to force them to break down with my hammer. Have to pay double (4 hours) for an easy 1 wooden crate movement with less than 15 minutes drive between 2 locations! AVOID! read more

I wish that I had found this review site prior to using this service. I moved in January 2016 from a 2 bedroom apartment in Chatswood to St Leonards (10KM). I was told that the total move would take roughly 5 hours. I paid for a 3rd removalist because there was no elevator at the new apartment and I thought that this would be fairer on the men. The move (with 3 men) took 12 hours. No cupboards or drawers were unpacked prior to moving, wine bottles were left in the fridge (until my husband asked them to unwrap the fridge remove them). Clothes we re left on coat hangers and thrown into boxes. The removalists actually used my towels, doonas and linen to pack items. Every item of my furniture was scratched and damaged in some way. I was charged for quality boxes, bubble wrap and packing tape - where only gladwrap and domestic selotape was used. The total move cost us $1,965 and no itemised invoice was produced until a week after the payment was made. The invoice has not taken account of the $100 deposit paid and shown no quantities of items used - I feel as though I have been mugged!!!!! I have complained several times to the company but so far there has been no response to my concerns. read more

The worst most appalling service I have ever experienced - cheap for a reason The first 2 operatives arrived 1 hour late - 9.30 instead of 8.30. The first 2 operatives were obviously not impressed with the amount of work required to empty our 3 bedroom house and within 15 minutes one of the men decided enough was enough and he started to pretend to be ill - clearly he wasn't. He continued to pretend and then totally gave up and left. Leaving the 6 items of furniture he moved on the front garden ready to get wet if it rained. This was about 10am. After many calls a second gang was promised for 12. They turned up at 12.30. The 2 new operatives also arrived with a smaller van than the first. So I got hold of the manager who promised that if they needed to return the travelling time would be free. This did not happen as the 2 new operatives did not want to return and said the boss was full of s**t and they would take what they could and the rest would be up to me. So at about 15.00 the 2 operatives left with about 90% of my belongings. I waited for about 10 minutes to tidy up and left. I arrived at the new house at 15.50. The van and 2 men didn't arrive until 16.30. In the hour and a half they were missing I called them 12 times and they only responded after the twelth call to say there had been an accident. I saw no accident on the route, my wife also travelled seperatley, there was no accident. They didn't answer their phone, they were obviously asleep - this job was paid per the hour, what sort of company let's their operatives sleep and avoid work. They arrived eventually and started to off load for another 2 hours. At about 6pm one of the men said how would i like to pay - i reitereated that it was by card he said not good enough he wanted cash - I told him no. At 7pm they finally finished and asked for $950. I argued and settled on $730. There was some bubble wrapping to be done for another $100. Not sure where the $950 came from; remembering i had a $100 deposit. The next day i had to hire a van for $140 to move the remainder of my stuff and get help. All in all the staff on site were appalling. They smoked constantly and were never far from their phone (except when i wanted them). The first team was a disgrace and i have never seen somebody pretend to be ill and avoid work. The second gang was similarly appalling -there was no accident which delayed the truck. This was the most abysmal service i have ever experienced from a moving company, and I have moved over 20 times. Please - spend the extra dollars and book a professional company. 6 brothers are inept and you will end up paying the same but having a stress free service read more

NEGLIGENT, severely incompetent and untrustworthy. We used this company in January 2018 and had the most horrific experience with them. Not only was most of our furniture damaged, we had a significant number of items stolen due to the removalist error. In the event you do engage this company to move your personal belonging be sure to take out removal insurance (thank goodness we did!). This inept company should not be in business. read more

They showed up several hours late, the lead removalist was rude and aggressive, damaged belongings, overcharged us, and was so tired from working all day that he took breaks and laid down every 20-30mins. read more

These guys have to be the worst removalists in Sydney, possibly Australia. They were extremely unprofessional, got lost, were painfully slow and tried to rip us off at any chance they could get. They took literally twice as long as they anticipated to move us, spent at least an hour over the day smoking, complained about everything, yelled at me, threw our boxes around and worst of all left a bunch of our belongings on the side of the street because the supervisor was mad about the job and they were running late for another job . They turned an already stressful day into an absolute nightmare and I would NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone. read more

Absolutely disgusting service, we were spoken to in a rude manor by the removalists, every piece of furniture we own has been damaged, boxes were dropped, electronics & valuable goods were left out in the rain uncovered for long periods of time and on top of all of that they were extremely slow, took double the recommended time, therefor costing us much more than necessary. We could not be more disappointed in the service we received. Initially when booking our move in, the girl on the phone was lovely and very helpful, but unfortunately the boys were the complete opposite. Stay away from this company!!! It has now been almost 8 weeks since our move, we have been back and forth dozens of times with this company, impossible to get any straight answer or even get through to speak with anyone, still waiting on our refund.
