The maple praline frosting is delicious and packs the most flavor. The cupcake itself is lightly flavored and not overwhelming. The salted caramel, I felt wasn't noticeably salty but that could be my taste buds. The cupcake itself held more flavor than the maple praline did but it wasn't bad or too much. Sometimes cupcake shops will offer but so many get one free but this shop doesn't do that. Instead they do have a reward point service. For every dollar you spend you get a point. Once you get to 100 points it's redeemable for a cupcake or another item up to $5. The cashier was super friendly and patient with me while I decided. Overall I love the shop, and I can't wait to go back for my next cupcake already! The only pain point I would say is the hours aren't not the best with them being open 11-6 or sold out. Maybe it's the big city girl in me but later hours until 7 or 8 would be great for those of us who work during the day and want to go on a week day instead of the weekends. My toddler loved Linda's Sweet Potato cupcakes, which didn't even have icing. That is a good cupcake if a toddler makes note of the flavor by name, demands it each time the cupcakes come out, and refuses other offerings covered in icing! Linda is a caring person, and was very sweet to be personable and talk with us each visit. She gave my son a hug when he was full of energy (which isn't easy in a store), and he smiled and calmed down. The cupcakes are $3 each, and you get one free when you buy a dozen. She has other sweets, but cupcakes did it for me, so I never had a chance to try anything else. I spread her business card all over town, out of affection for this sweet shop! Note that each cupcake is tied inside a plastic baggie. This keeps them very fresh and moist, but can be hard to get off without marring the icing. If ordering ahead you could probably ask for them without bags if you want to keep the icing pristine. I made sure to call ahead to check flavor availability and she always had what we wanted. Can't wait to return!
