I was actually getting cash next door prior to heading to another salon for the same service, but ultimately decided to go with threading at Sita's instead of waxing at the other salon. The salon is very clean and I was second in line. Sita is fast, so I was seen in less than 30 minutes. I got my eyebrows, lip, and sideburns done. It stung, but it was manageable. I have old microbladed brows, so I don't get my brows done often because they're still full looking. Sita shaped them very well and trimmed some hairs and I realize I should be shaping them more often than not. I will be returning for sure! read more

I am writing this review after giving this place a second attempt. During both visits the owner was unfriendly/unwelcoming and gave attitude. On the first visit I thought I went in on what appeared to be a "bad" day for the lady who did my threading, she was sighing and complaining about how much hair I had that she had to thread. During checkout she then complained about how I was paying with card and that she preferred I paid with cash. Today on my recent visit, it was the exact same experience. I checked in on the sign-in sheet which she apparently doesn't read... I sat down on the chair under the impression she read it. NOPE! She finished threading my eyebrows and I asked her if I could thread my face as I had indicated in the sheet. She was bothered that I asked and told me that's why I asked you before. Mind you she didn't ask, all she asked me was lip too? Again I responded yes under the impression she read the sign-in sheet where I had indicated the services I was looking to complete. At this point she felt forced and told me to sit down so I could get my face threading completed. Ultimately, I declined and got the memo that my business is not wanted here. This was the final straw, 2 back to back bad experiences.... I will not be coming here again! This lady needs to rethink her business as she's clearly over it maybe retire if you're tired of having to provide your services???!?!? I've been to a couple of eyebrow girls and she does such a solid job and makes them super symmetrical. These are my eyes brows nearly a week later and they still look so fresh. There was a wait on a weekend but worth it. I've come after 5 weekdays and not much wait time. Been here a few times now and after realizing that eyebrows also need care, this has been a ritual every two weeks. It's a one person show, and Sita is customer focused, helpful, Covid-hygiene aware and super polite. I paid $13 for brow threading, I recommend bringing cash to avoid an extra $1 charge. I've been coming here for the past 2 years, and even though it's a bit of a trek for me to get to Eagle Rock from South of the 10 freeway, it's worth it because her work is amazing and thorough. Walk-ins are welcome. I've come in at various times on any given day of the week without an appointment and it has never taken longer than 20 minutes to be seen. When you're in that chair, Sita listens to what you want and works carefully and efficiently to achieve it. She offers a stamp reward card; it's something like buy 10 eyebrow thread sessions and get 1 eyebrow thread service for free.
