The owners are some of the nicest people. If they ever come off blunt or straight forward its solely because they want the safety of your dog to be a top priority. There's no purposeful harm of dogs that I've seen here. Everyone is very patient and loving with them. Not only that, but they genuinely seem to care about their employees. I've not once felt like a pawn rather than a person here, and I appreciate that as well. I will say we can't prevent EVERYTHING. If your dog is new to kennel environments or gets stressed easy the risk is your own. We can not prevent a dog from licking his paw too much and causing a hot spot at 2 am when everyones supposed to be sleeping... with that said, though, we do try to prevent anything we can because the safety of your dog is the top priority here. I know I've heard a story before that one of the girls working here told me where there were fireworks and she stayed until 1 am to keep a anxious dog company until the fireworks stopped... I can confidently say if we have to, anyone who works here would be willing to do the best for your dog in that type of situation The facility is very clean, it's cleaned thoroughly twice a day AT LEAST [meaning everything outside is sprayed down and everything inside is disinfected as well while keeping the dogs away from anything harmful] I mean the amount of times I windex the sink in a day is amazing... I personally would feel comfortable bringing my dogs here, and I do. What I've seen here when working has always been for the best interest of your pet, even at their own detriment

About a year ago my partner and I took our two dachshunds here because our regular boarding place was booked. We picked them up after a week, and when we got them they seemed more distant and worn out than ever before. They looked heartbroken. The next day we wake up and our senior dog is covered in his own bloody poop and vomit. He is barely conscious and we rush him to medvet. He had to spend a week in intensive care. They let us know that he has developed an illness that can be induced by stress. 8,000 dollars later and our little guy is ok. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt until I was scrolling through Reddit and saw an anonymous post from an (ex) employee of this place saying that the manager is abusive towards the dogs and has a horrible anger problem. The owner has also apparently threatened this person for talking openly about their animal abuse. I am hoping people will see this review and take their dogs elsewhere.

Although my little one would rather spend eternity with me, he has a pretty good time here. It's a very large facility with day care, overnight boarding, grooming, veterinary care. They treat Rocco (my dog) as if he was a child. When i call to arrange for day care they tape his picture up on the "now playing" wall. So cute! At the end of the day they give me his daily report card. They let me know who he played with and who took care of him. I don't have any children, and this is such a special way to make me feel like a mom. I don't usually call to make a day care reservation until the morning of. It has never been a problem. They welcome Rocco with open arms. It's the little things that help make me feel secure with my decision to keep going back to Village Gate

They're easy to book with and very affordable. The owner and his kids are all so wonderful--friendly and hard-working. We brought our two recently adopted cats here for a check up/establish care. For first time…read moreappointments they require you to pay for the visit up front which does not include any additional services that may occur during the visit. It is purely just the exam fee (~$55/cat). They have an online portal and an app where you can upload any health records you may have. I like that they have separate entrances for dogs and cats. Also they are fear free so they'll never strap an animal down to order to complete a test/exam. If the animal isn't feeling comfortable they'll give them medication/calming treat and have you come back in once they are calmer. The tech and the veterinarian were helpful in answering all of our questions and made recommendations on how to get two cats that are not littermates to cohabitate well. The only aspect I wish was improved would be being forthcoming with cost. One of our cats had extra gunk in their ears and the vet said he wanted to take a look at it under the microscope to see what, if anything is growing there. That was an extra $30 that wasn't disclosed to us until we checked out. There was some yeast so he brought in some ear drops which we also didn't know the price of until we were checking out. We asked about nail trimming and they said it could be done today. It took about 5 max for both of them and I didn't realize (maybe my naïveté) but that was an additional $18/cat. I like the staff and service. Also appreciate the use of online portals/apps. I just wish they were maybe more forthcoming regarding the price.

Our favorite veterinarian worked with this Veterinary and she had taken care of Jax since he was 6 months old. Due to circumstances, she was not always available for us to see. So, this was the perfect time for us to find a new veterinarian. I called Easton and talked with Phyllis. She was so kind and gentle in the way she spoke to me that I set up an appointment for both of our dogs. Unfortunately, before the first appointment, I had to call and get advice for one of dogs. Phyllis suggested that I take her to MedVet to get immediate care for our girl. I am very thankful for being guided to Easton Animal Hospital. They have taken exceptional care of Jax and that I am very thankful. The kindness and information and caring of the entire staff is exceptional. I will recommend Easton Animal Hospital to everyone.
