They took such great care of our girl, and I can really tell that the employees love their work and treat each animal as their own. Our pup was able to run, play outside, cuddle, enjoy the sunshine, and relax without the concerns of being surrounded by other dogs in a really loud facility. They gave her meds without issues, took care to make sure she ate, and loved on her. I chose the adventure package to ensure she would have all the time out and about as she could and that included getting a picture of her each day. When I tell you that I could see in my girl's eyes that she was so much happier there, I mean it. Their care, attention to detail, and just overall quality of experience is worth every penny. Rex also didn't greet us the way he normally does. That evening he was lethargic, panting, refused his dinner, and had several episodes of loose stool. Overnight he developed profuse diarrhea and excessive drooling and stopped eating entirely. The next morning, August 5, we took him to the OSU Veterinary Medical Center Emergency Service, where he was diagnosed with severe septic pneumonia and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS). He was hospitalized for over a week, requiring high-flow oxygen therapy, IV antibiotics, blood pressure support, and intensive monitoring before he stabilized enough to come home. Our vet bill for his treatment came to $17,148.74. Rex was healthy when we dropped him off. Within hours of pickup he was showing signs of serious illness, and he spent the following week in intensive care. We wanted to share this timeline, including the condition he was returned to us in , so other pet owners have the full picture before making a boarding decision.

As a result, my dog came home having chewed hair off of his tail, and licked fur off of his forepaws - generally he does this only when extremely stressed. Also, the turnout was very small, no way a larger dog could stretch out his legs. They did give him walks and lots of attention - Lori knows what she is doing, but her help don't seem to follow through all the time. Overall, this place is great for people with well-balanced social dogs, but not for ones with insecurity.
