This evening was our second visit to this restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly. The wait time was long after ordering. The food came and my loaded sweet potato was about half cooked. They replaced it and the second one was fine. My husband ordered chicken alfredo. While the noodles and sauce were good, the chicken was over-cooked and tough. waited over 45 minutes kept checking to see where our name was. We had six people the next thing I know they're taking another six person group and I had heard them say they knew the owner I went over and showed her where our name was there was seven people in front of them and felt like the waitress was not happy she got called out on that food was not that great. It felt like it was canned gravy. Chicken was dry. took them another 40 minutes to get the food to us was not impressed and probably will never go back. Don't waste your time or money. read more

While visiting area and I wanted to get a nice cooked meal. Sister place menu seemed to check mark everything I was feeling. We made it here for lunch and opted for their 1/2 pound burger, hand cut fries and hand battered onion rings. Everything came out perfectly and tasted great. Service was fast and everyone there was kind and helpful. We had to have some pie before heading to the Devils den. We decided on their apple cobbler warm with a scoop of ice cream. It was delicious. My daughter didn't stop talking about their cobbler and even brought it up the next day. We really enjoyed our visit and hope they get a larger space. There aren't allot of places that have fresh home cooked meals and this place is doing it right. read more

I so wanted to like this place. Very cute gift shop designed for tourists that stop in. I admit we came right around noon on a Friday so we anticipated some wait time. We were seated fairly promptly and provided our drinks by the hostess. Our server eventually came to take our order. Observing the goings on of staff and customers, I can only believe that our server had the song, " I would walk 500 miles" from 1988 by the Proclaimers in her head and took it as a challenge to get 500 miles in on her shift. She made many empty handed trips back and forth instead of using her time and energy efficiently. By the time that our meal for two came to our table, in separate trips,, my pancake was cold. The food was underwhelming if not somewhat off putting. The pancake tasted greasy and as stated earlier was cold. By this time I was just ready to be out of there and on my way home. My husband's All Meat Omelette was good, but the service really was not even close to being adequate. I was hoping for better. IHOP would have been a better option sad to say. read more

From greeting to leaving Sister's impressed. My friend and I waited a couple weeks after the opening to visit Williston's newest treasure. The ambiance is warm and house the feel of home town. The entry houses a lovely gift section and a smiling hostess. We were seated in a booth and the restaurant decor was crisp and delightful. We both chose Michelle's chicken salad because it is legendary and delicious. We shared the fried green tomatoes which were perfection. Nicely appointed new residence for Sisters Place. Our server was polite and attentive. We received our beverages and rolls in a timely manner. Our entrees were not received after an hour of placing our orders. A table next to us with the same waitress was seated after us and served before us. We had the Wednesday special of chicken and dumplings. It was delicious but was not hot. Only slightly warm but very tasty. Our sides were served hot and were good. Waitress did not return to tell us that they were out of the vegetable special side but let the kitchen decide what side was served with our meal. We were warned that service was slow. A friend who ate there also on Wednesday waited an hour for their meals. Looking forward to eating at Sisters Place again. Hopefully they can improve on service. read more

I went with a friend for dinner at about 5:15. we were not served until after 6:15. my chicken was wayyy overcooked and so was my friends cod. it was so bad she didn't eat or take home the 2nd piece. I ordered a loaded sweet potato for an additional 1.29. it was a small potato with apparently no butter, but it had marshmallows(yay-not). My cold slaw was delicious but had too much mayo. The gravy on the chicken strip( supposed to be a breast) was clumpy and gooey. we won't be going back. and no I didn't complain because we did not have time to wait another hour. read more

Hey, so I live in williston. And I've waited a long time for this restaurant to open and take over the BUBBAq That was there previously. so having said that I would recommend this restaurant for dining in williston over any other. The good thing is it serves breakfast all day and they use real eggs that need to be cracked open, not that foamy egg product that comes out of a carton. Even though I went for lunch, that was the first thing I asked my server, were the eggs real??, and she assured me they were. I also asked if the ham and turkey that goes on the turkey and ham sandwiches was baked in house and she was not positive, but she thinks it was more deli style....... so that probably means processed and that doesn't work for me. I did see a Cobb salad come out of the back and it looked amazing. It was piled high and huge. I was very disappointed in the bacon that was on my burger, I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly, and the beef was amazing. The bun was great, but there was no ketchup or mustard on the table and I didn't wanna ask for more. They put it on the bun for you prior to it coming to your table. And the pickles on the burger were substandard, even though they sell great bread and butter pickles in their merchandise area. Too bad they can't offer better sliced pickles. I got the side of macaroni and cheese. That was extremely disappointing ..so I would recommend you don't do the mac & cheese, but the mac & cheese and the broccoli casserole were the only sides that did not have meat added. And I like it that was an option and a southern restaurant. That was good. Next time I would probably try the field peas or the collard greens. The service was quick and expedient. My server was very very sweet and working hard, I was disappointed I wasn't ordered a tea refill or one to go. Their motto is we were raised on sweet tea, dirt roads, and Jesus, I love that!!!!!!. It's so perfect for this area, but I was not offered a tea to go. So I guess in closing my overall review is very positive. The hamburger could've been amazing for me if it had had better pickles and condiments on the table. And I had ordered the bacon crispy. I'll do that next time. I just didn't order the right side item. The macaroni and cheese was just common. The sweet tea was good And the environment was clean and bright and nice. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good. I especially liked that they created a separate door off the eating area so you walk into a separate space before you enter the men's or women's bathroom. I think that showed good foresight On the part of the owner. Anyway, it has great artwork all over the wall by my friend linda ballantine. I love that they used a local artist for their original art. All in all .it was a positive experience. I just would've tweaked a few things on my meal-maybe like crispy bacon on the bacon cheeseburger and better pickles. Oh, and the menu was extensive. There are so many choices from salads, to seafood, to a fried green tomato sandwich on sourdough. I just stuck with the burger as my first try. I can't wait to try their homemade desserts. I'm so so glad that this restaurant has opened in williston and if you've read this far in my review, you should definitely go. read more

4 of us stopped in for lunch. It is the only restaurant in town. Very clean and cute items for sale when you come in. Service was extremely slow. Took over an hour to get our lunch, and then only after we asked on the status. French fries and food were not hot like they just got cooked, but rather sitting under warmer for a while. A friend and I met in Williston to have an early dinner and then go to Cedar Lakes Garden for their Christmas light show. This restaurant is really small, but we got seated right away. The waitress was very busy but very attentive to our needs. I got the pork chops And two sides all were delicious. And my friend got beef stroganoff, they had run out of noodles, but they substituted with delicious mashed potatoes. If you want delicious country cooking, this is the place to go. We stopped for lunch after camping at Manatee Springs and were not disappointed! Our table got the gator basket (my son said the best gator he's had), the turkey club (piled high with turkey and smoked bacon), the southwest burger (delicious), fried okra, and onion rings. Was told 15-20 minute wait, was seated in 45 minutes. Waitress was quick to get order, but took an hour to get the food (no explanation). Food finally arrived, my bread was missing and my husband's order came out wrong. It took so long by this point, he just dealt with it. And I finally got my bread when we were finished eating. Waitress was friendly but not very attentive. And observing, overall the staff seemed "chaotic" (confusion). We arrived at 12:20, ate at 2:00... took till 3:00 to get out. Didn't plan to spend the day there. That being said, the food was good, the atmosphere was cute. I really hope they can work out the kitchen/service issues. It's my understanding. This is a new location for them, so hopefully they'll get the kinks worked out. I may give it another try later. read more

Wow! I have had tilapia in many restaurants, many states, many homes but today's broiled tilapia at Sisters had to be one of the most delicious I've had, hands down! I love fish for meals, I order it as often as possible, avoiding fried as much as possible, some are fresh, some are greasy...this was flaky, fresh and perfectly seasoned! I paired it with the potato salad, which was also fresh and obviously, homemade! My only disappointment was the iced tea, very very weak! Cannot review the food because we were never seated after a very long wait when there were open tables. Operationally, the place is a cluster f. Hostess and servers debating how to seat customers in front of the customers, yet no customers getting seated. Had problems with getting a large party with reservation sorted out. It's very rare that you find a place that has great food and great service. This place had both, a true gem! It's a cute little restaurant and the food was so good. Fresh everything and cheap.
