Oh, but THIS store! It's wonderful. It's all about the local food scene, and quality. The cupcakes in the bakery case are made there, and the pretty frosting designs were naturally colored. They bake their own breads. The deli line was led wonderful, there's a coffee stand, and the smoothies are made to order with real fruit, no mixes. The prepared foods case was also well stocked and generous with variety...I was able to find a delicious snack for the afternoon. The produce section is colorful and impressive...they even have Buddha's hand! This has an upscale Whole Foods vibe (pre Amazon ownership), and Moscow is lucky to have it. Adding a few words to hopefully trigger this in searches for vegan, organic, lunch and dinner, since it didn't come up in a search for those topics for me. I "discovered" the co op just driving by.

There seemed to be a lot of cozy spots you could hide into work, study, read, converse, and more. They even had an upstairs area for more space to hang. The line was long, but I wasn't in a rush and it was about 9am, so I think it's to be expected. I didn't realize how vast their menu and selection was, but I love trying seasonal flavors, so I got the French Toast Latte. I forgot to ask for oat milk, so as she made my drink I asked and she happily changed the milk for me. She made polite conversation and served me a nice hot latte with a smooth coffee flavor. I didn't stay, but wish I could have because it was a great place to hang out!

The blueberry oatmeal tart was so good: buttery shortbread crust with gooey filling and crispy top. Fresh and buttery. Yum. The sandwiches ($11) were super tasty, but sadly the reason for the lost star. Super buttery bread. I would not categorize it as brioche, as it was a bit hard... more like a challah. The taste saved it. Definitely could have used more meat, as we could not taste the pancetta, but neither of us cared because we loved the brie, arugula and sauce. Nom nom good. The mocha ($5) was really good, easily the best I've had in the Palouse. I loved how hot it was, as it was warm all through lunch and even after we got home. All was affordable and well-presented.
