The guys came to my house as stated. They stated I needed a new pump and replaced it. After repair, the system was not working. According to Sean, it was the electrical system to the septic that was the issue. My family member made adjustments to the electrical system to make it work. The company still charged $2500 for a pump that was not needed (2 guys, 2 hours). Further, Sean stated there wasn't a warranty on the pump. What????? We looked up the pump (Liberty pump, model # 257 1-1/2; you can buy it on Amazon for $216!) I requested a receipt for a week straight, to date, Sean has not emailed me the receipt. I wonder why?? Job felt like a scam!

We contacted J&C Irrigation for a quote and they were able to send someone immediately. They recommended modification of an existing zone into a separate drip irrigation zone that was designed to include all the new plantings, and it was a perfect solution. The work was performed promptly, which was a great help to keeping the trees well-watered immediately after planting. After the work was done, we had questions about the drip zone coverage, so someone came right away to address our questions so we understood clearly how the drip zone was operating. They also provided assistance on how to adjust and modify the watering program at the controller for these changes. Very pleased and would certainly recommend.

He said he would send more details in a full report, and we'd receive it 2 days later. 2 days later came and went. I had to call him 5x before he finally picked up 3 days later. Later that night he sent me a 7 sentence report with a doodle of the property, and said he'd send more once he figure out an issue with his software. I made the mistake of paying him before he sent over the full report, because it's been more than 2 weeks since he sent me his doodle and I never heard from him again - though I've sent him multiple emails, texts, and Facebook messages since. Since I didn't have enough details about the septic, I hired someone else to do another inspection. They charged $50 less, gave us many more important details about the system in person, and provided us with an 11 page in-depth report on the same day of inspection. They also texted me back right away whenever I had a question. It was like night and day dealing with these two different companies. It's possible Orange County Septic Services is the right company for certain jobs, but I can't recommend them for septic inspections.
