A few weeks ago I took my 2025 Chevy Equinox in to Sisbarro GMC for service. There was a recall on my car that the service department tried to execute, but it failed. Service Manager Chuck Armstrong was very apologetic and took me to Hertz to pick up a rental car which Sisbarro, GMC agreed to pay for. As we went back and forth, it became apparent that there was going to be a month's long delay in getting my car up and running again. I was disappointed but I didn't get angry because everyone I dealt with was honest, open and transparent. It would have been easy for the employees at Sisbarro to become argumentative or defensive over the situation. That has in fact been the kind of behavior I experienced in similar circumstances at other dealerships. It's clear that Sisbarro is different. The dealership made a mistake but it was just the start of the story. Once I contacted Michael Yoke, Customer Service Manager - Sisbarro immediately stepped up and started trying to rectify the problem. That was helpful but it was made more notable because everyone involved tried to help and remained kind and understanding. Everyone I met at Sisbarro had a smile on their face. Eventually, we discussed me trading in my Equinox against a GMC Acadia. I wasn't really looking to get another car. My wife and I paid cash for the Chevy and it was only 18 months old. But it seemed like the best way to resolve the situation quickly and easily, so Michael went to work on trying to help me work out a trade. I made it clear that I would only move forward if this was a spectacular deal for me. I was getting a new car - an additional 18 months of warranty - and an upgrade in vehicle - but I was giving up a car that was paid for and taking on extra cost for the new car. I had planned to keep the Chevy for a while. My biggest concern was that I didn't want to go sit in the dealership for hours haggling and arguing. I felt that Sisbarro had the burden of working this out to my benefit and to my great surprise - that's exactly what they did. Everyone was professional, helpful and friendly throughout the process. I was impressed by the fact that this place didn't feel like a traditional car dealership where everyone is out to hustle. It is a family owned business and one of the few family owned dealerships in this part of the country. While many companies will market themselves as a family owned business, that usually doesn't mean much. In the case of Sisbarro, it does. Michael Yoke was in touch with me multiple times each day as we started working towards a solution. He assured me that he would smooth over the process - and that he and he alone would make the deal with me - no back and forth with sales managers, etc. I have experience in the car business and I did a great deal of research to determine the value of my Chevy. I told Mike what I wanted for my car and that's exactly - without any haggling - what I got. I told him what I wanted to pay for the new Acadia. I asked for a significant discount off of the selling price and got exactly what I wanted. Once again, no argument. Just a team of people working very hard to make sure I was happy. Master salesman, Danny Chavez was appointed by Michael to handle the house deal. He did a spectacular job of demonstrating the GMC Acadia to me. We took a test drive. He carefully, and completely explained everything that I asked about. Once the numbers were agreed upon, Chuck Armstrong took me over to service to collect the stuff out of my old car. He even helped. Then I sat down with a wonderful young man named Luis Tovar, who works in F&I. He handled all the final paperwork and didn't try to hard sell me a bunch of products I do not need. I asked him for Wheel & Tire coverage and he even gave me that at a discount. The paperwork was simple and fast. Our conversation was enjoyable. Michael Yoke oversaw all parts of this transaction and without him, I am not sure this would have ended as well for either party. He oversaw the negotiations and even arranged for me to get my plates and registration in less than 48 hours after I took delivery. I have never been to a dealership that has a Customer Service Manager with any real power. Michael has worked at Sisbarro for many years and it's absolutely clear he has the trust of ownership. As we ended the day, Danny Chavez filled my new car full of gas (courtesy the dealership's credit card) and got my new car washed. He did a top-flight delivery, showing me how to activate OnStar and learn all the ins and outs of the vehicle. Danny also graciously took my Hertz rental back to the rental office so I could get on my way home. 100% satisfied - HIGHLY recommended. read more

Have regretted giving this dealership our business not once, but twice (due to unfortunate circumstances). I don't recommend coming here - they are easy to sell you a car, but won't be easy to work with if you need any ounce of customer care afterwards. read more

Got a winning ticket in the mail for $1k. Said to take it to this address as my prize was secured to pick up. Got there and had to sit down and answer a bunch of questions about my car. Once I did that for a while they took me to their board of few serial numbers and since mine didn't match it didn't actually count as a win. TOTAL SCAM idc if your there for a winning prize or to by a car but they will find a way to scam you one way or another! read more

If I could give zero starts or Negative stars I would. I got my car literally 5 months ago in Nov as they were recommended by a family friend as they got their truck there back in 2024 time frame. I did a little bit of research of the 2021 Atlas but I did not do a deep dive like I normally would have as I trusted my sales person and my family friend to be honest and I didn't trust my instincts to not get this car. I have had nothing but issues with my car, and trying to get a hold of someone to help me. The two times I was able to get a hold of someone I got the run around. When I got my car I was told I would get a spare tire and my hood sensor fixed. After bugging the sales people and the service people and finally having to go in person and talk to a manager, 3 months later I got my hood sensor but never got my spare tire because the service manager never ordered one or grabbed one from a vehicle similar to mine. Fast forward to now, I was visiting family a few hours away, and my car goes into Limp mood in the middle of the highway and was stranded for hours. I was finally towed to the Volkswagen dealership nearest me as they are the only ones able to work on volkswagen because of the software, the mechanic there told me this is a known electrical issue with Volkswagens and to contact Sisbarro to talk to them about the issues and possibly get it fixed or trade my car in and get a different one. I try and call Sisbarro for hours and was not able to get a hold of anyone in any department. I call the next day, same issue I called for hours and was not able to get a hold of someone. I call that following monday and was finally able to get ahold of George the service manager at the Sisbarro Volkswagen where my car is, and could not help me with the issue I was having with my car. I was finally able to get down to Sisbarro today, and they originally gave me a KBB of $19,500 but then 10 mins later when the manager gets involved they drop it to 15K. they acknowledged its a manufacturing issue with Volkswagen and they knew a little bit about it before they sold me the car, but there main focus is making quota and sales. They don't care about the safety of their customers; they are very pushy and condescending to women. To add to it as well, the sisbarro Volkswagen wouldn't even look at my car until I talked to the GMC certified dealership people as that is where I purchased my car. Volkswagen have issues with Sensors constantly coming on randomly even when nothing is wrong, you cannot get your Volkswagen worked on anywhere else besides a Volkswagen dealership which when I asked about that they told me I could go anywhere. They will pressure you into getting a vehicle and low ball you if you trade in another vehicle. read more

Service Department stinks. I made a special call to make sure the very best time to come in when they would be the least busy (7:45 AM on a Wednesday) and made the appointment. I was told the oil change guy started at 8:00 AM. When I arrived at @ 7:50 AM there was a lady in front of me who claimed to have an 8:15 appointment for service, however I didn't overhear what type of service. After they checked her in I was greeted by a Service advisor who had no idea who I was, and wanted to get me a shuttle ride home. When I told him about my appointment he changed his mind and said OK, I'll take care of it right now. I went to the waiting room and read a magazine for an hour. As I got up to use the restroom I happened to notice my car finally going into a service bay. They had not even started on it yet. The service advisor never offered an apology, he just handed me my keys and said sign the paper here, after another hour's wait. These people don't understand customer service. read more

Communication from service advisor is horrible. Online tracking is a joke, after three hours I checked with service and my car was ready and online tracker still shoed only arrival. No contact from service advisor. Then I had to ask where my car was and he said it should be in the parking lot. Guess they have never considered delivering vehicle to customer and going over mpi. Don't leave floor mat protector and mirror tag in vehicle. I was a service advisor at Toyota and you could take a few lessons from them about customer service. We love our Buicks but Sisbarro service department leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Celeste reluctantly took us on a test drive and spent most of the time on the phone. Then handed us over to Marlyne. They low balled my trade and even though they were working with me on the purchase they started working a deal with another customer on the same vehicle. I went in to buy 2 vehicles and bought none. If I could give this less than 1 star I would. Worst car buying experience ever. We walked in with a build sheet and asked about ordering the vehicle we wanted with those options and accessories. The sales staff had a vehicle on the lot in the color and style we wanted and they assured us they could add the requested accessories so we decided to move forward with the purchase. We almost left while in the process of buying after they tried to lowball our trade in and offer 4 - 5 thousand less than 2 other places. We were in the process of backing out when they came out with a reasonable offer. When we left with our vehicle we were told the accessories were being ordered and they would need 2 days to install them when they came in. We were supposed to get the factory towing package. ( turing on the computer assisted back ip and alignnent, an additional cooler and it was all supposed to be hidden under/behind the bumper cover). Upgraded factory avenir floor protection package. Factory body side molded steps in the color of the vehicle. Factory molded mud flaps. They were also supposed to fix the paint chip that was on the door. 3 weeks and 2 days later we got the vehicle back. And the only thing right was the mud flaps which they had to reorder because they ordered the wrong color the 1st time. Instead of the factory side steps we got flat after market black l running boards that cost half the price and look like crap, after market floor mats, and an after market trailer hitch that has a plug screwed into our bumper cover that interferes with being able to use the foot activated hatch. No towing package just an after market hitch so we cannot use the features the vehicle is designed with for backing and alginging the trailer and there is no oil cooler. The paint chip was not repaired someone literally used a paint pen to put a blobs of paint on the chip and it looks like crap. Little to zero communication. We had to initiate all contact about where our vehicle was and why it wasn't ready. Only excuses from sales person and her manager about the issues when they delivered vehicle to us yesterday. At this point we are still waiting on a resolution. Horrible experience with all of the Sisbarro dealerships. Been looking for a vehicle and had gone to them for about a week. Spoke with not one but 6 or 7 different people either over the phone or in person. Keep saying they would find something for me and get back to me. It would never happen the day they said they would get a hold of me. When they did call and you stressed your frustration about how you are being valued for your business they just passed the blame between their own dealerships. I ended up getting a vehicle at a different dealership and just today a Sisbarro salesman (I really want to say his name here but will refrain) called and was "following up." When I told him I found something somewhere else he kept passing the blame on to me or other people that I was talking to making me feel like it was my fault that I did not find something with them. He even went as far as putting words in my mouth that I never told him like budget and even a person I did not speak with. I called him out on it. They are liars who lack simple communication efforts. It got so bad that I decided to call off the deal after over a month and a half. It was not as easy as it sounds either. On July 3, 2023 we purchased a Jeep Renegade. Two weeks after we purchased this vehicle, we received a letter from our Credit Union that Sisborro had not paid off our loan on the trade in vehicle and the credit union was going to automatically add insurance for a $3,400. premium if we didn't provide them proof of insurance. So we had to go to the credit union to prove we no longer had this vehicle. Sisborro told us it took two weeks to get financing on our loan; however, we had letters from our financing company that we actually did have a valid loan on the Renegade. We have now received a letter from the credit union on the Renegade that they still DO NOT HAVE THE TITLE from Sisborro Buick. Now this is August 19. I called them yesterday to follow up on the letter we received from CU; the manager was busy and would call me back. As of this writing, I have not received that call. Today I called three times, my wife called once and we are unable to get through to anyone. After we got the Renegade home, we noticed an oil leak. We took the vehicle back to the shop twice. They tried to say I had changed the oil and put a wrong filter on. When in fact, THEY HAD PUT THE WRONG ONE ON when they did the initial service. If I could, I would give them a rating on -4. This is the worse place to get a vehicle! I bought a 2023 Chevy Malibu with 20 thousand miles I had the car for 30 days when it started jerking every time I changed gears so I took it back and I went back and forth with everyone in the service department Jose Salas, Chuck, Colton, and Justin! Nobody knew what was going on there was no communication between any of the mechanics and the managers, at first they "could not duplicate the problem" until finally they figured out it was the transmission and it needed to be replaced, at this point I was pretty pissed that a pretty new car with low miles needed a whole new transmission. I asked Alex Veloz the sales manager about getting into another vehicle he said I could but I would have to pay another 4 grand after putting down large down payment I was not going to give them anymore money, so I just let it be and let them replace it. It took over a month to replace the transmission finally they called me to pick up my car and it felt different not a smooth ride at all like when I first got it so I drove it home and opened the hood and everything was shaking it sounded like a diesel. I took it back the next day told them it's shaky and loud. Before I bought the car I remember them opening the hood while it was on it, it was so quiet it didn't sound like the car was on so I know this noise and shakiness is not normal! I got a hold of Michael Yoke & Darrel carpenter and they both told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and that noise was "normal" they even went as far as asking me to go down there because they had another Malibu that sounded the same to prove that it was "normal" they refused to fix my car or make the situation right! Hurry up and put money to hold it within an hour of seeing the truck or someone else is gonna take it, next day hurry up and sign the contract or someone else is gonna take it... because 5 others want this truck!! Then 3 days after you sign a contract they call and say oh sorry the previous owner took the truck we sold you back! So they didn't even own the truck they pushed me to sign a contract on!! I wish there was a way to give Sisbaro negative stars. This is inclusive to Sisbaro VW. Let me provide a little history of the shitty not to mention shady service they have provided over the years: Exhibit 1 - June 2005: My sister had purchased a certified used Xterra from this company. The AC went out (during the summer...in southern NM) and she took it in to have it fixed. She had a very nice sound system installed in the vehicle - this detail will actually matter later. When she took her car to be fixed, they didn't even want to fix it under the guise that the underlying issue was not under warranty. When it was FINALLY determined that it was THEIR responsibility, she was informed by Michael Yoke that the part required was an air compressor, would be coming from ABQ and take a couple of days , oh AND also informed her that her car had broken into!!!! Yeah - WTF, right? Well Mr. Yoke (a.k.a the liar) stated that "several" cars had been broken into, and that he had already filed a police report. She asked what had been stolen from her car. He told her that the stereo system had been taken. She asked what else had been stolen and he said he didn't know. Naturally she went down there, and had the police there to take a report. How nice and convenient that the cop who had come the first go round showed up when my sister called because he stated that only my sister's car had been "broken into" and there was no report filed because he (Mr. Yoke) was not the vehicle's owner. It was highly suspect that no windows had been smashed out of my sister's car...no locks tampered with, no damage to the car at all with the removal of the stereo system...how nice of the people who broke into her vehicle... Anyway, my sister got her report filed and asked that they reimburse her for the stereo which again they initially refused stating that they were not responsible for items stolen out of the vehicle while in their possession...I mean, that makes total sense right?!?!? It wasn't until several months later when she was able to compile a listing of the items along with their pricing, sent it certified mail AND THEN showed up with our insurance agent that they finally got off their ass and paid her for the items their shady employees stole! Exhibit 2 - 2007 or 2008: My check engine light came on in my VW Jetta and I took my car in to be checked. I was told there was an issue with the gas sensor and they would have to order the part, my car would be ready in a couple of days. I went to pick up my car, it wasn't ready. I was told it would be ready the following day. Again, I went back and again it was not ready. The third time I went to get my car, the service rep who had been working with me, saw me and ducked into the back as to not have to tell me what was going on with my car...just piss poor service all around. I never took my VW there again. Instead I took my car to Hoy Fox in El Paso, where the service was a thousand times better despite the drive to the east side of El Paso. Exhibit 3 - earlier this week: When My mom's check engine light came on in her Buick, she took it to them to have them diagnose and repair the issue. Once they ran the initial diagnostic, they stated an amount in the $400's. They said once they looked at it, if they found anything else, they would let her know... Well they called her and apparently found more items that needed fixing...with a new price in the $900's...after finally budgeting for it (this took an hour or so) she called to authorize them to perform the work...the price to fix her car? $1,400!!!! That's right folks $1,400! Then they made up some cockamamie excuse blah blah blah (you can read my mom's review on Google). One of the things they said was that a component in her car was leaking antifreeze and needed to be replaced. Interesting because 1) there was never any antifreeze in the driveway, in the garage or anywhere...EVER and 2) she took it to another individual to check it out and they physically showed her that there was no leak and what they were referring to was normal and not an actual leak. I want to warn anyone considering going to Sisbaro for the servicing of their car...they have an ongoing history of shady, unethical and very poor service all around. I highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere for your servicing needs. How this place still stays in business manages to really amaze me. Shame to you Sisbaro for first, taking advantage of a single mom, second, a single young woman and third, an elderly woman on a fixed income. You should truly be ashamed of the level of service (term used very loosely) your company provides. read more

Sisbarro is a pleasure to do business with and I've always been treated like family there. Lou, Pat, and Dan are pillars in our Las Cruces community and I can't thank them enough for all that they've done for me. The staff has always been a pleasure to deal with, and there's no better dealership group to do business with in this town. Recently, I took my fiancés Ford Escape in for an oil change. Everything was quick and easy. As I was on my way home, I glanced down at my invoice and noticed that they had given us a discount on our services!! Next to the discount was a written note from the manager that said "Thank you for being a valued customer, we appreciate your business." Worst used car buying experience I have ever had; and I've purchased quiet a few vehicles... I went in to negotiate the sales price of a 2013 BMW 328i that I found online. The sales guy was great - the finance manager however (I forget his name), was HORRIBLE! He would not give me a sales price after I told him I was prequalified through my own bank. He used every nasty aggressive move to work around negotiating a price. He spoke down to me and acted as if I had no idea how financing worked. I have been in the banking industry for a very long time and realized immediately what he was doing. I proceeded to purchase the same vehicle several years newer with less mileage, more options and a manufacturers warranty for $8,000 less then what the sales manager alleged the vehicle he was selling was worth (although he still avoided giving me any price). Then he had the audacity to have the sales guy bring around a completely different model after I said "no deal - I'll go to another dealer" as if I didn't know what I wanted. Smart buyers know the tactics and will fly to another city to buy a car and work with a REPUTABLE dealer, as I did. I highly advise against purchasing at this dealership! read more

Worst car buying experience ever. Was promised not to be sold a piece of junk. And that's the first thing they gave me. Carfax report said vehicle was in great shape. Turns out vehicle had been wrecked before. Didn't even bother putting all the bolts and screws into the door and fenders. Brakes are bad. Computer is failing. I set up a service appointment for an electrical problem on my car. I received great response from Jesus, calling to confirm my appointment and walk me through the troubleshooting process. From the start, it was clear I had reached out to the right place because the customer service was top-notch. Day of my appointment, I dropped off the vehicle and I was called with a status report exactly when Jesus said he would call. They had identified AND fixed the issue in a matter of a few hours, even without their "expert" electrical guy there. I was incredibly relieved and impressed, considering electrical problems can be difficult (if not impossible) to ID and resolve. It was very clear that the service department's attitude is ALL about customer service and satisfaction rather than turning a profit. I have been to local automotive shops and have left dissatisfied. Called Sisbarro GMC to schedule an appointment for a AirBag recall. Service writer told me they didn't have part needed, so I asked her if they would order it and let me know when service could be completed. She said she couldn't tell me when, so I asked her if she could call GM and get that information, she said she couldn't. I asked her if I should call them and she said I could do whatever I wanted. I then called GM and they called Sisborro and after their conversation they put us on a 3 way call. Sisborro now has the part and schedule me for next day. Upon arrival in Friday morning I was told they didn't have the part. After her speaking to manager she said just leave it I guess we do. After service was completed I returned to get my truck. When I got home I inspected area where I assumed repair had been done. After inspection I noticed that my Dashboard had been cracked while being repaired. I called Sisborro immediately to advise them of my findings. I spoke to Frank the Service Manager and he immediately got in the defensive and told me he knew about it. He claimed technician brought crack to his attention prior to starting service. I explained to Frank that I had Video taped complete area prior to service to ensure I didn't have any problems. Video is time stamped , date stamped, and speedometer mileage at time I dropped truck off. He said he didn't want to see it that his tech told him before and they didn't do it. He blamed me for video taping truck because I wanted to set them up, really. I would not recommend this dealership or Frank for any service work. Absolutely unacceptable!!! read more

I bought a new vehicle from Sisbarro. No Problems with the vehicle at all. A few months after we buy it, I was sent out free oil-change/maintenance certificate. I thought that was great so I go down to their maintenance dept. that has the sign on the outside "QUICK LUBE". I wait in line. There are three people at the desks and they are taking the customers very very slowly and out of order. So I wait... then I am told it will be 2 to 3 hours before they can get around to my vehicle. This really does NOT leave a good impression about the dealership. Sisbarro... ARE YOU LISTENING???? Be honest with the customer and tell me on the certificate to make an appointment!! I so glad that there is another GM dealer in town!! read more

Frank is the person to talk to in the service department! He is kind, honest, quick, and very helpful. He knows his crew in the back and treats everyone with respect. Phoned Sisbaro regarding a recall on a 2001 Pontiac GrandPrix, was told the service could be done, parts were available, and I could expect a 2 hour wait. Made the appointment and showed up 15 minutes early (50 miles drive). First off, was told they had to check to see parts were available, next told the wait would be over three hours. Meantime was told I had an oil leak problem which would take 5 hours to mend. Asked them to get the recall problem resolved.....later, as I watched the mechanic hammering (literally with a hammer) to remove identified components, questioned why the brutal attack....was challenged by the service rep. and told that is how it is done. Over three hours later, the car was finished. The car overheated on the way home, drove to a reliable mechanic in my home town.....was told the coolant was leaking due to a break in the inlet on/near the intake manifold. Was told that the recall was not completed, what was done was shoddy. Totally disappointed in the service, the attitude of the people I had to deal with, and the misinformation I received, and questionable end result.. Unfortunately, I had no proof they caused the major coolant problem, but that was the ONLY place I had serviced the vehicle, and they were the only ones who had been under the hood. Stay away from Sisbarro, HONESTLY, worst experience in my life with auto service in my 74 years. They deserve a NEGATIVE rating. Interesting point, they never asked me for feed back on my recall work. read more
