During the time that I was at Pau Brasil, the venue seemed a little on the small side (more normal for french standards) There was a male MC/host, who could ssss-ang, a female vocalist, about 4 or 5 female dancers and 3 male dancers, so at most there were only about 7 to 8 people on stage at one time but given their space and the good use of it, the showed really filled up the room and I really enjoyed the more intimate setting. I also really liked the crowd participation. For now I can only imagine how the show has evolved over the years but I bet now is an even better time to visit because I have a feeling that they probably found a cute way to include this years Olympic games. We were welcomed with a small basked of shrimp/fish crackers served with some sort of spicy tomato dip which tasted really good. For starters, I had the sambal (spicy shrimp paste) shrimp which was heavenly. The marinated shrimp was grilled to perfection and drizzled with some awesome sauce. My dinner date had the foie gras (why, of course) and the combination of figs, foie gras and toasted baguette slices really set the tone for the entire meal....or so I thought. Both our main course was cod fish in curry (there was a catchier name, I swear) with sticky rice. My heart sank as soon as I had the first bite of the fish. After killing it in the appetizers, I had such high hopes for the fish but the dish turned out to be as bland as plan rice - it was lukewarm, tasteless, spiceless and wasn't too good. I requested for the aforementioned spicy tomato dip in hopes that it would make the dish better but unfortunately, it did not. Ultimately, my dining experience was marred by the main course, and somewhat lack of service. Disappointing :(

It definitely is pricey, but I would say it's worth it. They also bring you olives and really good miso glazed almonds. It's a quite, nice vibe bar that is a great place to talk with friends and enjoy being in Paris. I would highly recommend this place.

The bar appears to be full of whatever you would like but a signature cocktail menu that reads like a beautiful coffee table book is given to everyone. The drinks with names like Corn, Apple, etc are given to elaborate cocktails that are crafted with multiple layers of ingredients. Seems weird but everyone loved theirs and we all shared sips.
