The first result (with lots of positive reviews) claimed they serviced my area, but when I called (their answering service), they called back and said they did not. I then called Adam's and they picked up right away. I explained my situation, they came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, ran to the store for some parts and had everything knocked out within a few hours and quite frankly, I felt like they undercharged me, just for the time involved of coming out to my home and running to the store and back for parts. Fast, competent, professional and very affordable. I don't know what more you could ask for from a business. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and recommend him to anyone in our area.

We couldn't be happier with the service from Matlock's Lock and Key Service. Matt was very…read morepersonable, incredibly knowledgeable and transparent about every step of rekeying a specialized Uniloq Entry lock. He rekeyed the lock and explained why it made sense for us to disable some features of this lock. What stood out most was his honesty - he suggested a D-I-Y option for another door that we thought needed to be rekeyed. This saved us money! It was refreshing to work with Matt, since he's a professional who prioritizes doing what is best for his customers rather than just upselling.

I researched and found out that the 2004 model had consumer-programmable keys and fobs, so I purchased 2 of each from Amazon, total price $11.99. I programmed the fobs and keys. Thr fobs worked great, Keys needed to be cut. I took the keys to my local Ace Hardware, and they refused to cut them. If I bought them there and got them cut, then fine. Price? $100 per key. Someone recommended West End Safe & Lock, so I went there the next morning. I spoke with Rick and he said "No problem! I can't guarantee they will work though, as I can't verify the source" He took about 10 minutes to cut both keys. My cost? $20.00 total. I took them to the car and started it with each key. Perfect. THANK YOU RICK!

We had already had another lock smith come, who was absolutely terrible- that guy almost broke the sliding glass door and incorrectly drilled out the lock in the garage, only to tell us he had "the wrong drill bit." Didn't trust our Google abilities after that. Got connected with Darrel (I believe was his name...) after hours, and he told us he could do it, but since it was after hours (9pm.....) it would need to be in cash, and $180 since we were also further away from his location. At first, that was a LOT of money, especially considering the wallets, car keys, etc were all locked in the house. After figuring it out, he arrived and cut a new key on the spot that worked. He then asked to see ID's and deed to the home or he would lock us back out, and we were all to happy to provide him with everything needed. He also helped us clean up the mess left by the first person we called. Cannot recommend this business enough- honest, good guys, doing work by the book, and not doing more damage!

I asked him if he had a business card as I was from New Jersey and had just bought a house in Clermont Florida and may need some work done. The gentleman turned out to be Juan Velez. I needed blinds installed (13) and I had just set up a date with Lowe's to have someone come and measure for installation. Unfortunately the contractor from Lowe's soonest appointment was in a week and a half they would measure and then set up a date later for the installation. I was pressed for time and needed to return to New Jersey in a few days. When I found out the Lowe's contractor could not come earlier I contacted Juan the day after I met him. I told Juan what I needed and he set up an appointment to come measure the windows the next day as he was working in the area. Long story short, Handyman complete services measured and installed all the blinds a couple of days before the other contractor could come out to just measure the windows. Handyman needed some other materials and charged them to their account and provided me with a receipt. I was blown away by the professionalism and quality of work done in a very short period of time and would not hesitate to recommend them. I have Juan's number in my phone and will use them for any future projects or services I need.
