We had issues with the color/finish of the cabinet fronts not matching the rest of the cabinet. Apparently Deems Vendor had changed their finishing vendor between the time we selected our cabinets and had them installed. Matt worked tirelessly over a 6 month period to help us get the cabinet fronts that correctly matched the rest of the cabinets. He came out numerous times inspecting the replacement and rejecting them because there was not a proper color and/or finish match. I am confident that without Matt's assistance we would have not gotten the cabinets that we ordered. When working with Deems Kitchens & Counters ask for Matt on your job. You won't be sorry.

He quoted us a 8-10 week time line on our custom entertainment unit and 6 months later the job was not completed. He dropped the ball on several occasions, promising and never delivering. I have never seen the owner of a company treat a customer this way! Stain color was wrong, and installation dates were missed several times with follow ups only after I called and texted several times. Buyers beware....i am writing this because I don't want you to be disappointed. He will talk a good game, cash your deposit and then take his time and disappoint you!

It could have been risky for Marcos Antunes to call himself an artist, unless, as is the case, he actually is! He takes pride in his work and demonstrates that every step of the way. Often times in review you only hear what went wrong. In this case, I wish to tell you what went right. Marcos shows up when he says he will. He even comes to finish the job after payment to attend to the couple of items on my punch list. Do not be fooled by other cabinet refacers. It is extremely important that the cabinets are painted with an oil based paint. This is what Marcos uses. I am certain that it would be less expensive and less of a hassle to use a water based product, but I am also certain that the finished product would be not the same high quality. I cannot imagine receiving more value per dollar spent than I did with this project. I love my "new" cabinets. They have refreshed the look of my entire home.

He told me that he will prepare an estimate, but before the plumber would come out, I needed to pay a nonrefundable $500 for all the work he already had did. Having slow business, they skip the payment later and let the plumber come out anyways. I also wanted to replace my pocket door with old French doors of the same size as the original door. That was part of the original estimate. Another person came out with Frank and looked at my bathroom. They insisted that I would buy the vanity from their company as Frank told me that's where they make the money. Stupid comment from his side. The vanity they offered to me as a custom made would have been the same quality of the same item online, but $1,000 more expensive. So, I asked for an estimate without the vanity. They took it out but added $2,000 to the labor. When I asked why I was told it was for the French doors which were already in the original estimate, but because they would cause so much extra work. That's when I knew that they were trying to rip me off. My current contractor is putting those doors in for me for $300. When Frank from Wood Kitchen & Bath asked me why they did not get the job, I told him that he lost my trust! Something to consider hiring this company!

In late April 2026, I called Countrymens Garage Door Service, aka Countrymens, Inc, and left a message asking about the installation cost of a Liftmaster 3/4-HPc, belt-driven garage door opener. Owner, John, returned my call within minutes, gave me a most reasonable estimate for a new Liftmaster garage door opener with installation and tax included, and said he could install the opener early AM the next day. At 8:20, the next day, Randy from Countrymens, Inc arrived, removed the existing MVP (The Villages) garage door opener and rail for my cart-garage door (7'H x 6.5"H), installed the new Liftmaster 3/4-HPc opener, rail, interior wall controller, and syncrhronized the remote controller, two-additional Liftmaster opener remote controllers that came with my other Liftmaster 1.0 HPc, Belt-driven garage door opener for my 2-car (7'H x 16'W) garage door, and installed the back-up battery to the cart-door opener. Everything worked, both openers and three controllers but the wall unit for my new cart-garage door opener. After numerous attempts and telephone calls for support, Randy and John decided to replace the new (faulty) 3/4 HPc cart-garage door opener. At 7:20 the following day, Randy arrived with another new Liftmaster 3/4-HPc, Belt-driven garage door opener, removed the faulty one, installed the new replacement, interior wall controller, and synchronized the remote controller and the two-additional Liftmaster opener remote controllers that came with my 1.0 HPc Liftmaster 2-car garage door opener. Everything works great. Randy also, informed me how to train/sync the opener to the remotes and keypad and maintain/service the door, rail, and drive-belt. All this took about an hour. After Randy left, I created new combinations for each door on the exterior Liftmaster keypad that came with my 2-car garage door opener.
