Apparently Deems Vendor had changed their finishing vendor between the time we selected our cabinets and had them installed. Matt worked tirelessly over a 6 month period to help us get the cabinet fronts that correctly matched the rest of the cabinets. He came out numerous times inspecting the replacement and rejecting them because there was not a proper color and/or finish match. He quoted us a 8-10 week time line on our custom entertainment unit and 6 months later the job was not completed. He dropped the ball on several occasions, promising and never delivering. I have never seen the owner of a company treat a customer this way! Stain color was wrong, and installation dates were missed several times with follow ups only after I called and texted several times. Buyers beware....i am writing this because I don't want you to be disappointed. He will talk a good game, cash your deposit and then take his time and disappoint you!

It could have been risky for Marcos Antunes to call himself an artist, unless, as is the case, he actually is! He takes pride in his work and demonstrates that every step of the way. Often times in review you only hear what went wrong. In this case, I wish to tell you what went right. Marcos shows up when he says he will. He even comes to finish the job after payment to attend to the couple of items on my punch list. Do not be fooled by other cabinet refacers. It is extremely important that the cabinets are painted with an oil based paint. This is what Marcos uses. I am certain that it would be less expensive and less of a hassle to use a water based product, but I am also certain that the finished product would be not the same high quality. I cannot imagine receiving more value per dollar spent than I did with this project. I love my "new" cabinets. They have refreshed the look of my entire home.

Oh my gosh we wished we had skipped all the struggle with the other cabinet company. Wood K & B made everything simple and worked with us when we changed our minds on colors. Frank said we would have to buy the roll of formica which was $150 then $75 for the install. First appointment had to be rescheduled because Frank ordered the wrong thing. Second appointment was scheduled for 10am didn't arrive until 10:40. Then I asked to keep the leftover material (that I paid for) and was refused. Frank said since he had to order it twice (his mistake) I would have to pay an additional $55, which was the restocking fee he had to pay for his mistake. Seems petty and wrong. I definitely won't be recommending this company or using them in the future.
