Please do not book this company. At first, the packages seemed great and my fiancé and I were eager to sign a contract. We selected the package where you pay for the bartenders and mixers, and we provide the alcohol. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF INDIANA PER THE ATC. ONLY A CATERING COMPANY CAN PROVIDE THE ALCOHOL EVEN IF THE COMPANY HOLDS A 3-WAY LICENSE. DO NOT LET THEM TELL YOU OTHERWISE.
Also, the manager, David Rosenthall, would read my texts and never respond. It also took him months & multiple emails to even send the correct licensing to the venue. I reached out to David 3 weeks ago and asked him a question, to which he read my text and didn't answer. I had my fiancé call him and ask, and he replied, "Bianca is now taking care of your event and she will call you later".
We have no idea who Bianca is, as we signed a contract with Sip & Pour, not Bianca who is affiliated with a different company. We have never even spoken to this woman. Was he even planning on telling us this? This is something we would have had to inform out venue of and ensure she has the proper licensing, which we have no idea. At this point, we decided to cancel the contract, to which David agreed and said he would refund our deposit. Supposedly, Bianca is the "new manager", and she stated she would NOT be refunding our deposit despite having said she would. Thankfully, David refunded our money out of his own pocket, which was nice.
2 days ago they had the nerve to charge almost $1000 to the credit card on file for the remainder of the contract even though we have cancelled. Thankfully, we have changed credit cards.
Mind you, my wedding is next month! Brides - do yourself a favor & do NOT book this company. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere, even if the prices are enticing. It isn't worth the hassle. They are operating illegally and should be shut down. read more
