This is hands-down the best art gallery in the Midlands. They have a variety of art styles to cater…read moreto every preference. The best part about this Gallery, is that the artists are here to greet you, and they are super friendly. They also offer classes to strengthen your own art skills, from beginner to advanced levels. They also offer layaway and the art is very affordable. They also have a wide selection with hundreds and hundreds of pieces to choose from. I'm particularly fond of Gail and Marlyn. If you are in Sandhills shopping, make sure to check out this art gallery. It's the best store in this whole Shopping Center.

Plenty of natural light and offerings ranging from photography to impressive oil paintings make this spot a must visit. We were greeted warmly upon entering and I chatted with the knowlegable and friendly volunteer long enough to learn that they offer First Friday events with music, food and beverages and a chance to meet the artists of some of the work. While I didn't see anything I absolutely loved this trip aside from a few photographic pieces, this will be on my 'must stop' list in future visits to SC to see what new offerings they may have. How refreshing to see local art displayed alongside the usual mall findings in the Village! Great idea!!

The Art Trail Gallery is a neat business for Florence. I went there today for a company…read moreChristmas/holiday party. I didn't realize you could have a holiday party in an art gallery, but I guess you can. It was actually a very neat place to have it, because we could walk around and look at the art before the party. The art is for sale, as most galleries are, and of course, most of it is expensive and out of my price range. However, there was a wall with prints for $20 to benefit a charity. I thought that was neat. They also had Christmas ornaments and jewelry for sale. It's a neat place to walk through if you're in the Florence area. There's a parking lot about a block down, right across from the Central United Methodist Church.

The city is revitalizing the downtown area and this gallery seems to be one of the city staples. The gallery is very large and has a great presence from the street. Walking by you get a great view of the gallery without going in. Once you are inside the gallery, the space is large. This particular event had live music and tables. There was enough room for the bank and at least 35 tables. With the band, tables and food setup, there was still plenty of space to view all of the awesome artwork. The artwork was very nice. There were oil paintings, sketches, sculptures etc. The most memorable pice was large sculpture of a man and horse, which was about 7 or 8 feet tall. I didn't get to view all of the art due to the nature of the event. The event was more of a networking function, which kept me busy. However, I'd visit again because the artwork was beautiful and I'd like to view all of it without interruption. The curator was nice and knowledgeable about all of the work. He encouraged everyone to visit again for a more intimate experience with the art. The gallery was very easy to get to. There is plenty of street parking and a parking lot that is close to the gallery. I plan to visit again.
