I don't know what their other 'heirloom' secrets are, but I know that their produce tastes more flavorful than I thought possible. The strawberries I recently picked dropped straight down from Heaven's strawberry patch. I put up a magical batch of strawberry jam & went back for 12 more pounds! The carrots & beets are crunchy & juicy with tender greens you just want to curl up with. As the season moves along you can delight in their onions, tomatoes, greens, roots, melons, eggplant, squash, sunflowers - you name it, they're growing it. They've been open to the public for about 2 years & I just became a member this season. Better than a regular CSA where you have to take a box of whatever they give you - here you can buy whatever you want/need & the cost is deducted from your 'tab'. Bonus: members get a 15% discount as well. The retail store offers local dairy products that taste creamy & decadently European. Local meats, eggs, honey, salsa, etc etc are available, too. One stop grocery shopping!

Great place to pick your own or buy a small basket of organic cherries. They charge $8.00 a pound…read morewhich is really pricy, but when you eat your first cherry, you'll know the why it's worth every penny. My boyfriend and I decided to pick our own to avoid any bruises and "cuts" on the fruit itself and it was such a fun experience! They let you sample the cherries as you pick them. Just grab a bucket and start your adventure! The staff advised that a full bucket is about 5 pounds worth of cherries. Walking through the aisles, there are different types of cherries to pick. 1. Tart cherries -good for smoothies, but it really is tart. My boyfriends calls them cherry bombs because of that tart bite. I only liked it because the seed stuck to the stem. 2. Dark red/purple - extremely sweet! And they are so plump!!! These were so good 3. Ranier - of course this is the biggest reason I wanted to go cherry picking. So delicious and tastes way different than in Utah (where I'm currently living) and the grocery stores. The orchard is hidden, but if you go towards the state park following the signs, you'll see this on your left side. They're also only open from. Wednesday - Saturday from 10am-2pm.

It was early afternoon when we arrived, therefore relatively busy. We waited at the front to be seated and were behind a large group. The hostess saw us behind the group and offered for us to sit at the bar if we were comfortable with that, which is what we would have wanted anyway. I appreciated them noticing us behind the large group and not making us wait while they figured out the seating for the others. There were so many options on the drink menu that it was almost overwhelming! I opted for a flight so I could try multiple small samples before committing to a large glass of anything. The bartender was very helpful in explaining differences between the varieties and helping me choose ones that would match my palate. It was a great experience!

The salad and the beans were good. The corn on the cob was cold. The s'mores at the end over an open fire were yummy. We would go again, but would not do the dinner at the end.
