When the food finally arrived, it was terrible. My friend literally had blood in their chicken wings, which is completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting. They were offering fish bowls for $6 which were great! I got two Bahama Mamas. My sister got up and sang two songs. There was only about three people running the whole place But we got our drinks quickly and she was able to get on stage quickly and sing. The place was okay it could use a good cleaning the windows are dirty in the front. The sound is not the best but it was a good place to kill an hour and have some really good drinks. My friend and I came to play Jam Exam on Thursday and ate dinner before we played. I had the blackened ribeye with Gouda Mac n cheese and sauteed mushrooms. My friend had a pulled pork sandwich with fried okra. My steak was quite salty and slightly overcooked, but pretty good. The Mac n cheese was exceptional. My friend enjoyed her sandwich. I had a couple of Longbow ciders, which is hard to find, so I was really happy to see it on the menu. Their drink menu is extensive and really great, especially their signature cocktails and shots. Our server was fantastic, attentive without hovering. The decor is pretty simple, but they have some cool pictures of musicians on the walls. Before and during the game several people got up to sing karaoke, which was entertaining. They have special several nights a week, including ladies night. I always have a good time here! This time i brought the kids. They're allowed before 9! The kids loved jumping up on stage singing songs together. For the most part, we were the only ones there and the lady running the DJ booth played all the song's for the kids. One of the staff meme we even sang and let the kids be her back up dancers! It was a lot of fun til we got kicked out!!! ---------- THE SCENE Chattanooga, TN (February 2015) - It was my fault for thinking we could hang out with people much younger than ourselves. You see, my best buddy got married this weekend and all but disappeared after the wedding ceremony was over for some newlywed sexy time. #bowchickawowwow! Well, although my wife and I were also in honeymoon mode (we didn't have the kids), we wanted to enjoy something we don't normally get a chance to do back home - a night out on the town. So when my buddy's 25 year old daughter and her bestie invited us to hang out with them after the wedding, we said H E L L Z N A W ! But they begged, pleaded and insisted, so we gave in against our better judgment. Nothing wrong with 25 year olds mind you, but being that her father is my bestie, I've heard the stories that come with a night out with this drinking duo. ---------- THE EXPERIENCE We used the Uber cab system since we weren't sure how much alcohol we'd be drinking and honestly, I get pretty torn up over one or two pina coladas. Our first stop of the evening was Clyde's. I was perfectly content there, but these 20 something party folks weren't satisfied, so we Ubered over to RAW. It was about 10:30 pm and the party hadn't quite gotten started there, so we had a few drinks and skipped across the street to Sing it or Wing it. Already well lubed from the wedding bar and RAW, some of the members of our party were in the early stages of full drunken stupidness. Arguing with each other, bathroom yelling matches over who's being more stupid, and molesting male karaoke singers while they were still on stage were just some of the highlights of our evening. Did I mention one of the girls with us did all this flirting in front of her husband? Add to that the dude sitting at our table whom became our "instant friend" and insisted on photo bombing every pic I tried to take and you will start to get a sense of our evening. Actually, as uninteresting as it all sounds, I thought it was a pretty hilarious night. Then again, I'm easily entertained. Sure we felt somewhat responsible for seeing to it they didn't hurt themselves, but other than that it was an enjoyable evening. That is, until the manager @ Sing it or Wing it came to our table and asked our party girl to leave. I personally didn't think she was acting all that bad. I don't get out much but I figured it was typical behavior for the tavern folk. Then again, she wouldn't stay in her seat, staggered and stumbled a lot and did have the appearance of being ready to yak any minute. ---------- FINAL THOUGHTS I am not entirely sure if kicking her out of the bar was a responsible move by the manager, but nevertheless it happened. Although our party girl was the only one asked to leave, I was grateful to be honest. We are usually in bed by 10:30pm, so I was pretty stoked to get back to our room. We had fun (even though we only shared two drinks), but I'm in my mid 40's and too old for this mess! I will most certainly avoid any nights out with 20-somethings ever again! LOL read more

Sing it or Wing it has a dive bar feel, but outfitted with a makeshift glam stage to feature the liquid courage karaoke crowd. We snagged a table right up front and laid claim to it for the evening. There was about an hour wait to sing. Sound was surprisingly poor. Service was excellent, drinks priced fairly. Of all the things I like doing on a Saturday night, standing in tight quarters and being shoved around as people push past is not high on my list. Not to mention being constantly reprimanded by the KJ for even standing around the bar area. If there are too many people in the bar for servers to do their job, perhaps you should cap the amount of people that allowed in? I think this place might be better if you have a table near the wall - I wish we could have gotten a table so I could at least comment on the service.
