Mike and the guys removed the old flooring that had 2 layers of old subfloor and 3 layers of flooring. They put down a new subfloor and (LVP) Luxury vinyl plank flooring all in the 5 days time frame. I can't say enough about these guys. They powered through everything and got the job done one time with great quality work. As a landlord this is super import to get the units back on the market fast with quality work and at a reasonable price. Thanks Mike!

With any new home build, there will be a few items that need some follow up. In our house we had…read moresome trouble with the new, factory-built kitchen appliances. Although this was absolutely no fault of Valentino Homes, we were shocked and delighted by how well they took care of us. When the appliance store didn't have employees working on a Friday afternoon, the owner of Valentino Homes personally picked up a loaner oven and brought it to our house. They employ an incredibly sweet person specifically to help follow up homes post sale. She followed up with the appliance company on our behalf multiple times. My husband pointed out tonight how amazing it is that Valentino has all of their own tradespeople ready to step in at a moments notice. In the past few weeks we've had plumbers, electricians, gas line inspectors all come to the house with very little notice and do great work to help fix our faulty gas oven and dishwasher. Without exception they have been friendly, courteous and tidy. I have always felt comfortable with them being around our young children. The details in the house are spectacular, the more we get to know the house the more we appreciate the nuances. The tiles in the bathroom are lined up so that the patterns match. The painting on the ceiling is perfect, even the shelves in the kitchen pantry and bedroom closets are color matched to our home's color scheme instead of left unfinished. When we purchased the home we asked Valentino to finish the basement. It looks just as beautiful as the main floors and we were so pleased that they finished sooner than we ever dreamed possible. Valentino has great project managers, dedicated tradespeople and a real desire to deliver an excellent product. With three kids under 6 and baby on the way- we sure appreciate our lovely Valentino home! Rachel

Rhonda listened to what we hoped for in a home, including size, location, amenities, and price. Our house-buying journey, that lasted a year, ended in success. Our relationship with Rhonda developed and she never lost patience with us. We were impressed by her expertise in noticing aspects that we may have overlooked, such as water stains around windowsills. She has an eagle eye and points out details. We always felt that she had our best interests at heart. We would highly recommend Rhonda to by your realtor. Even during COVID times which have home viewing and buying challenging, she kept her optimistic outlook. She accommodated our schedule and was quick to respond to our requests. Yes, we would not hesitate to contact Rhonda the next time we buy or sell a property.

We are extremely disappointed and exhausted after dealing with this company…read more We hired Caledonian Homes, working with Amanda Froehlich Chow, to build a fireplace and four shelves. The project was supposed to start on December 4th, and as of January 9th, 35 days later, the work is still not completed. Throughout this entire period, we have had to constantly follow up just to find out if and when someone would show up. And every single time they came, what was supposed to be done was not completed. Worse than that, each visit resulted in new damage to our home. Service times have been extremely inconvenient and unprofessional - including weekends with no prior notice and even late at night (1 AM!!). They do not prepare or protect the work area at all: no floor protection, no furniture covering, and they even walked into our home wearing snowy, muddy boots with rocks, all over our brand-new floors. Lovely. You hire what you believe is a serious and responsible company to build a fireplace, and instead you end up with a dirty house, potential floor damage, multiple issues to fix - and possibly needing a prescription for anti-anxiety medication. At some point, I may go into detail about what these 35 days of frustration and stress have really been like. I resisted writing this review for a long time, but not doing so would be a disservice to Saskatoon and surrounding areas . I don't know how many people will read this, but if even one reasonable person reads it and decides to choose another company, that will already be enough. Do not hire this company under any circumstances.
