I'm now out an entire work week and the fee from the landfill for all the construction debris. I found them via google and they seemed to have ok reviews so I went forward for the replacement of my patio door. On my first installation appointment I was no-showed and had to call many times to even get an answer as to why and how they planned to remedy the situation as I'd driven home from work in Alberta for this appointment. I've been working a province away for the month and made special arrangements to be home for my door installation. I was told they would be here between 2-4pm. The time came and went. I called at 430 (within business hours) to see if maybe they were just running behind. Got no answer at the office. Called the salesman who sold me the door couldn't get an answer as well. I left 3 messages that evening hoping to see what was up to no response. Frustrated I decided I'll call in the morning. I got busy but expected a phone call that morning returning my messages but received nothing. I called their office again and got an answer at 1030 that morning. I found out they also had no idea their technician no showed my job. At 12 I find out he was sick. They take till 3:30pm that day to reschedule with a new team later that week so I had to remain in town, away from work for 5 days now just to see this job through. The installers come and do a great job. Very competent at what they do and I'm happy with the workmanship. As they're leaving they tell me weather-pro will be sending someone to come get the old door and construction debris from my home the following day. It has now been 4 days and the garbage is still here against my house and I've received no communication from weather-pro as to their intentions. I get it. Stuff happens and people get sick. Not the biggest deal but I the customer had to call countless times and nag just to find out what the situation was. At the end of it all I figure they may take off 100$ or something on a 6500$ job to possibly show some good will after having wasted all this time. This never happened and they fought me on any kind of discount saying it will come from the installers portion if they do that and I'm not about to take money from hard working blue collar guys who weren't the problem to begin with. All in all I paid a premium full price for a job that was terribly executed and am now also left with the landfill bill for all of the construction mess/old door which I was assured they were coming to get.

I literally called and got quotes from every window company in Saskatoon and had nothing but creepy high pressure sales guys who wanted my first born and liver to do the job. And then we found Kevin at KWS Windows & Doors, Amazing price way below everyone else for the exact windows I wanted. Price was exactly as quoted, did a clean professional job and even cleaned up and re-hung my curtain rods. I literally can't say enough about what a great job they did at a great price.

Michael assured me this was normal and any water getting in those cracks would drain out the weep holes. I took siding off my house this summer and it became obvious how much the windows have sagged. Michael told me he ordered the windows 1/2" smaller on each side than the rough opening to allow for insulation. The windows have over 2" space on each side of the rough opening. In order to install them screws had to be sharply angled to catch the rough opening. Now the screws are protruding through the outside of the frame. This also makes it impossible the drywall around the windows properly and put trim around the windows. The windows are not installed plumbing and square. Michael also refuses to install my other windows now and won't remedy my saggy windows. Michael told me my second set of windows would be ready to install mid October.

They removed the excess sprayfoam and compromised our vapour barrier at the same time which they never repaired. Then one of the windows wasn't caulked properly and leaked in our newly finished basement. Damage to walls and subfloor which they did not repair. Dealing with Energy Doctor for our $34,000 sunroom has been nothing but a toxic experience. They…read morechopped up our deck and removed over 30% of it without talking to us and also removed our 16ft wide steps and stole the wood. after months of complaining they finally came back and put back a fraction of the deck and a 4ft stairs. Rocky admitted that he has never been to the job site to see what was going on, and after that conversation, he has ghosted us on calls and emails. They told us that the city inspection has passed and waiting for the paperwork, so we went in and paid for the the job. Which was another lie. The stairs failed city inspection twice. We sent them a email Monday that if they were not rebuilding the stairs properly not to bother coming Friday to do more botch work. Yet again no communication with them and they came back yesterday to fix it with shims and a calking gun. What a joke. Thus we are in the process of filing a lawsuit and taking them to court. They came in and damaged our deck, damaged the grass in yard, and destroyed the deck supports for the deck around the hot tub which lost strength integrity and now have to hire another company to fix that problem along with building new stairs 6ft wide like we asked. So it will cost us further money to get it done right.
