I was told I needed a new part for the fan. Great, I replaced it and it still makes the same noise. They came back to check it out again and said they couldn't help me. So $650 later I still have the same problem. Makes me really angry and there is nothing I can do about it. My advice, don't take their word for what is wrong! My family rented a Uhaul box for a cross country move. The box was delivered on April 23 and picked…read moreup on April 27th. It had a "guaranteed " delivery date of May 12. On Sunday, May 11, I called the local U-Haul office. They assured me that our box was already there and would be deleted to the new house the next day by noon. However, later that evening, I got a text that the truck was delayed. I was unable to speak to anyone until Monday as the Ubox team is not in on Sundays. Monday morning, I began trying to find out what was going on. After speaking to the local office, texting the Uhaul box team, and even calling the carrier, Global Trans, still nobody could tell me where the box was or what was going on. Eventually I got a text that the truck was having mechanical issues, but they still couldn't tell me where the truck was or the extent of the issues Today, Tuesday,I got a text that the truck broke down in Texas! Since it was picked up in Colorado and was headed to Maine, it had to have broken down shortly after leaving Colorado! Yet, we were just made aware of the situation!. I have filed a complaint and am waiting for a supervisor to supposedly call me. I still don't know what's wrong with the truck or how long it will be before it gets here! Meantime, all our belongings except for what came in our luggage are in that box! I can't speak on the phone to anyone in the Ubox team. I can only text or email. I will never use this service again. I had a delay in getting the gas meter installed so Troy came out himself with a couple of space heaters to keep my old house comfortable. This gas station and convenience store are in a very convenient location…read more The hours of operation are not listed on the door, but they are listed in Apple Maps as Sun-Th, 6am - 10pm and Fri-Sat, 6am - 11pm, but the "convenience store" is very rarely open during normal business hours, which is very inconvenient and frustrating. They are closed right now at 6:00 pm, on a Tuesday. It's the closest station and store and they are closed and locked up with lights turned off about 40-50% of the time when I stop by during presumed business hours. The parking lot is often strewn with cigarette butts and pieces of trash. It's painfully obvious that there's no interest in keeping the establishment clean and inviting. They are often out of basic items like bread, eggs, milk, and half&half. Some staff members are very polite and engaging and others couldn't care less about being helpful. It would be terrific if another owner would take over this location or if the current owner would figure out how to keep it clean, stocked and open for business.
