They are knowledgeable, answered questions tha really helped with a decision related to kerosene vs oil. After I chose #2 oil with a low cost additive (which they provided as well), the furnace in my newly purchased home ran more efficient and my home stayed warmer longer. The last tenants used kerosen, my furnace switched on and off like a kid playing with a light switch. With #2 oil with additive, the furnace does not do that, in turn, my electric bill will be lower because it needs electricity to turn on. Other oil companies were not knowledgeable with the use of an oil tanks capability for using oil or kerosen, and highly recommended the more expensive kerosen, which they were not providing at the beginning of the season, plus they advised against it. In addition, one of them had stuffy staff when it came to scheduling and new customers, delivering only on certain days of the wee. I did my online search prior to calling any of them. Sinclair was the only company who knew the grade of oil #2, knew and carried the additive and, that the same tank could be used. Plus, friendly and expedient. Sinclair home heating is a rare find. I am financially struggling right now, so I was hesitant to have them come out in case I was imagining it. The smell really was that faint. I spoke to Jared, asked my questions, and he picked up on how stressed out I was about it right away. He was compassionate with my situation, explained the process, what the billing would look like (less than I thought!), and explained how important it is to trust your gut when it comes to propane. So, I had them come out and I'm so glad I did. They found multiple small leaks in the line to my water heater and also discovered that the previous owners used the wrong regulator when they did a DIY conversion from an oil to a propane furnace. Monday morning, I began trying to find out what was going on. After speaking to the local office, texting the Uhaul box team, and even calling the carrier, Global Trans, still nobody could tell me where the box was or what was going on. Eventually I got a text that the truck was having mechanical issues, but they still couldn't tell me where the truck was or the extent of the issues Today, Tuesday,I got a text that the truck broke down in Texas! Since it was picked up in Colorado and was headed to Maine, it had to have broken down shortly after leaving Colorado! Yet, we were just made aware of the situation!. I have filed a complaint and am waiting for a supervisor to supposedly call me. I still don't know what's wrong with the truck or how long it will be before it gets here! Meantime, all our belongings except for what came in our luggage are in that box! I can't speak on the phone to anyone in the Ubox team. I can only text or email. I will never use this service again. I've never had a propane need, but you can refill tanks at this location, too. I love the convenient location, but the parking is a bit lacking (there is a giant lot next to the building, but everyone tries to cram into the small space right by the door which I assume isn't really even supposed to be a parking area anyway). There is a seperate entrance for bottle purchase than the redemption side, which I hope smells better!

A few times I was inside my storage unit organizing when the lights in the hallways went out due to no movement. So I would have to walk in the pitch dark for a moment to get the motion sensor lights to turn back on. But really that's the only suggestion I would make! The owners are super friendly and I will definitely be recommending this place to anybody who is looking for a decent sized unit for a very good price!
