She is super easy to work with, crazy patient and more then accommodating to any request. We did all the wedding work our selves. For the reception we were just flaying by the seat of our pants and just going with it. What we didn't know was that we had a pilot. From the time our party bus dropped us off at the reception till the time the last beer and wine slushy was gone Kara had our back and set the course. She made everything run seamlessly. DJed her ass off and made things fun. They say a great dj makes the event and there right. We had nothing but complements about how awesome she was. Some people thought we had a really cool friend that was nice enough to Dj our event. Her communication threw out all the planning was impeccable and flexible. The pricing was on point and a great value for all that she offered. If you choose her to DJ your event you will not be disappointed. Thank you Kara for making our special day rock! Good luck with your new business and we wish you much success.

It took 45 minutes from the time we exited our car to the time we got to our seats. There has to be a more efficient way get people into the building. We took an elevator to get to our seats in the 600 level. From our seats it was difficult to see and hear everything well. The bathrooms were clean enough and the food and drinks were expensive. Fortunately, parked close to an exit but I could see some people waiting an hour or longer to leave the arena. There has to be a better way to move people in and out of this venue.

I've been to the ACMC many times over years, so I felt like a review was due…read more.. Overall, it's a decent place to catch a venue, but desperately needs to be updated... The Komets are entertaining and they bring some good music to town, but it's very sporadic. I saw Incubus back in college, we saw Shinedown here a few years ago, Journey is coming to town this summer, and we just saw Three Days Grace last night. The problem with ACMC (imho) is lack of consistency for good venues, the place is like an old dungeon that's in dire need of a modern-feel facelift, the seats are so tiny and uncomfortable, and the food & drink selection/options are below average (at best)... If FW would invest the ACMC, this place could be an absolute gold mine for the city. Dave Portnoy 6.1

I received HUNDREDS of compliments from my guests about this. Booking the photo booth was simple and communication leading up to the event was proactive and efficient. My daughter had her wedding and reception at this venue recently and we will not be using their…read moreservices in the future or recommending them. The venue is pretty much a huge banquet hall that uses a curtain to divide up the room for smaller groups in order for it to not look quite as big. We were not given access in order to further set up and rehearse the night before instead we were told that we would have enough time before guests arrived. We had agreed on us arriving 30 minutes prior to guests in order for us to be able to setup and go over a quick rehearsal, however, this was not the case because we were not allowed into the hall and all doors were locked. After the DJ opened the door to allow a few of the bridal party inside the owner came unglued and started ranting. She told us we needed to wait until the official time when guests would arrive. So now we have guests arriving with nothing setup and we have still yet to rehearse. It's pouring outside and the owner refuses to allow guests to come in or at least stand in the entry way until her watch precisely says the exact time. The wedding invitation stated 4:00 so typically guests will arrive a few minutes early. The doors are still locked. It's windy, raining and cold outside and our guests are getting soaked so we open the door to allow them in only to stay in the entry way. The owner becomes very upset and insisted guests return to their car and wait. This is a special day where guests are dressed in their best for a wedding and they're getting soaked. There was really no reason the guests could not come in a couple of minutes early to get out of the rain. The tables, chairs and the decor the venue offered had been set up a couple weeks in advance so there was nothing for them to set up for since there hadn't been an event booked for a couple weeks prior to their wedding Another issue we had was there is absolutely no parking designated just for the bridal party especially the bride to pull up close to the back entrance and hurry to get out of the rain. There is also no dressing room for her to do a few last minute touches or a safe place to store items away like purses and cell phones. It was really hard to hear the ceremony without a mic even from upfront let alone those sitting off to the back of the room. We asked if we could use a mic and was told there was not one available. During the wedding ceremony the owner was showing the venue on two seperate occations to potential clients VERY rude and unprofessional.. and yes I do have photos proving this. This is not the time to be showing off your venue to potential clients!! Putting a wedding together is stressful enough but this experience added a lot of unnecessary additional stress for everyone involved. For an owner, operator and hostess working with the public she was not helpful, friendly or flexible. Unless you absolutely have no other options available I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
