    I came here last week for a trial class, and unfortunately, this was not the type of class I was…read morehoping for. I left after just two stations/15 minutes. I was a bit grossed out by the "cleanliness" and the idea of lying down on the floor to stretch where people walk around in their shoes (there's so much nasty stuff from walking around outside!!). I was also under the impression/told this class was for all levels of fitness, but it seemed like it really didn't matter if we (the entire group) were literally of all different ages and levels of fitness or physique. I thought there would be more individual guidance for the movements we needed to do, but we were pretty much told (after the coach quickly explained each station), to go pick a station and get started. I wasn't sure if the positions I was standing in and sitting/squatting down in were correct or not. There's no way to see my reflection or have anyone who had experience tell me. One of the movements was to squat down while having one leg forward and across diagonally, so the knee is bent and at an angle, sort of like a curtsy position. I feel that because of that movement and not being told if I'm doing it correctly or not, I messed up my knee where I felt some sudden pain behind and around my knee area a couple days later. My vein specialist/doctor did an ultrasound on it today and saw that there's fluid in my knee that wasn't ever there before, and because of that it put pressure on another vein and caused it to "pop". He said it was probably due to straining and if the knee was twisted or at an angle. He mentioned that specifically before I ever said anything about trying out new exercises! Even despite my injury, my rating would probably be the same...the music was SO loud it was hurting my ears a bit, and I really did not want to be listening to club music. There's other music to work out to besides EDM. This just unfortunately and definitely was not what I was expecting based off of the business info and reviews I read up on.

I went with Chuck because of the reviews and I know I made the best choice! Chuck is not only the very best trainer out there but the best nutritionist, advisor, and overall motivator. He will make you work your ass off all while you love him, hate him, and laugh all at the same time! Chuck is patient and willing to answer any questions you have. Now I KNOW what it takes and how to get the body I've always wanted. Because of his training, I feel confident walking into any gym and getting the best workout possible for my body. He's more than just the muscle, he's got the knowledge to teach you everything you'll ever need to know to get your butt into shape. The high quality equipment in his gym matches his high quality training seamlessly. But let's be real here. It takes more than that to get me to stay as long as I have with Chuck. I was nervous, because I had never worked out in a class before, let alone done any sort of weight lifting. Being a woman, I was excited to work with trainers who were also female. The first day was intimidating because everything is fast paced and there's a lot to remember (when you're not used to that type of environment). Osi told me not to worry, that after a few days I'd get the hang of it. She was right, it wasn't scary anymore! If I ever got confused, she was right there to help me. If I struggled, she would lessen the weight or show me an alternate exercise. I have scoliosis and some moves are extra hard for me. I feel fully supported here. Molly has also helped tremendously. Both Osi and Molly are encouraging and want to be sure you're getting a full work out, but in a safe way. I always feel amazing after my class, and sore the following day!! Osi checks in on me often by sending me texts asking how I'm feeling and offering advice if needed. She even sends yummy, healthy recipe ideas as inspiration! The icing on the cake is the uplifting environment Osi has fostered in her gym. All the women I've encountered there are so friendly. Each one says hi when they see me. They all encourage me and make me feel like I belong, even though I just started. The women are all so inspirational. They motivate me to be better and to try harder each time I go.
