Where do I begin... I have been a member of this gym for almost a year now and absolutely love it! If you are wanting to join a gym or are thinking about switching gyms, you should check out Bodysport Fitness Center. I've been a member for almost a year now and thanks to this gym, my love for fitness has grown! They have top of the line equipment and offer a mix of group fitness programs, such as HIIT, combat training, muay thai, bootcamp (my fave), boxing, hula hoop fitness and much more. It's like everything I love to do all in one place... kind of like an adult playground :) I have seen countless new comers join and loose weight in a matter of weeks. But the best part about Bodysport is the atmosphere and the members that attend this gym. Mel and his crew are amazing and make everyone feel welcomed and a part of their gym family. (They also off programs for kids)

Bodysports bootcamp classes have saved my life! Physically and mentally. The trainers have always pushed me to reach the goals I have set for myself and devan, Alex and Mel have truly done a great job getting us ready for spartan races. I am down 55lbs now since June, lost body fat, and gained muscle. I'm truly happy to have the best gym family in town!

What's the average cost per month?

Hi Pablo! The cost per month for group training is $150.00 for both our Group Fitness Boot Camp and our Group Fitness Circuit Training Class. The boot camp class has more impact and would be for someone with uninjured and /or young joints. Both… Read more

Coach Jay is an absolute standout and a huge asset to the studio. His energy, motivation, and attention to form elevate every class, and he has a way of pushing you to do more while still making you feel supported. Huge shout-out as well to Coaches Michael, Devany, and Abby -- each of them brings something unique, and together they create an encouraging, high-energy environment that keeps me coming back. This team genuinely cares about the members and it shows in every workout!

I was a bit grossed out by the "cleanliness" and the idea of lying down on the floor to stretch where people walk around in their shoes (there's so much nasty stuff from walking around outside!!). I was also under the impression/told this class was for all levels of fitness, but it seemed like it really didn't matter if we (the entire group) were literally of all different ages and levels of fitness or physique. I thought there would be more individual guidance for the movements we needed to do, but we were pretty much told (after the coach quickly explained each station), to go pick a station and get started. I wasn't sure if the positions I was standing in and sitting/squatting down in were correct or not. There's no way to see my reflection or have anyone who had experience tell me. One of the movements was to squat down while having one leg forward and across diagonally, so the knee is bent and at an angle, sort of like a curtsy position. I feel that because of that movement and not being told if I'm doing it correctly or not, I messed up my knee where I felt some sudden pain behind and around my knee area a couple days later. My vein specialist/doctor did an ultrasound on it today and saw that there's fluid in my knee that wasn't ever there before, and because of that it put pressure on another vein and caused it to "pop". He said it was probably due to straining and if the knee was twisted or at an angle. He mentioned that specifically before I ever said anything about trying out new exercises! Even despite my injury, my rating would probably be the same...the music was SO loud it was hurting my ears a bit, and I really did not want to be listening to club music. There's other music to work out to besides EDM. This just unfortunately and definitely was not what I was expecting based off of the business info and reviews I read up on.

I also dragged my husband with me for the class so we can both work it! It was our very first time at F45 so when we got there, the instructor checked us in, had us sign waivers, and gave us a small tour of the facility. The facility is pretty small and looked like it was built just for these types of classes. She did mention that Medusa may not be the best class to attend as a first timer cause it can get quite chaotic but that didn't really bother us. The class consisted of 9 different stations and all of them had some type of weight incorporated into it. You can go as light or as heavy as you decide & with any class, you can go as hard as your body will allow you to. It actually reminded me of a HIIT workout but with weights. You do 60 seconds on and then 15-20 seconds off. I believe you do about 3-4 rounds of that. I'm not sure if there's a rep count that you're supposed to hit but I didn't really pay attention to that. The stations that we did were: Bench press Lunges Dumbbell push ups/rows/shoulder press Front loaded squats Kettlebell swings Russian twists Deadlifts Burpee box jumps Plate snatch (?) After three stations, you'll hit cardio with your partner/team. You'll be there for a total of 4 minutes so you can switch off with other people to hit that goal. The three cardio stations were rowing, cycling, and the skierg. With this type of class, you definitely have to pace yourself. You can't go all out in the first few station or you won't have enough to last you the rest of the class. I personally really loved the class. I love HIIT workouts and I love it even more when there is weight involved. I was sweating and breathing heavy throughout! My husband died a bit since he went a little bit too much on the weight to start so he was falling apart by the end of it haha. I did have a TFCC injury so I did end up modifying the front loaded squats to regular squats. If you need to modify, do it! Don't get injured or push your injury. Since we're used to working out, we knew how to modify but if you need any modification ideas, be sure to ask the instructor! The instructor was great. She checked up on us very often just to make sure we're OK esp since we were new. Since I already have a gym membership, I don't need a full membership. I'm not sure about what packages they have or how much each class costs. I forgot to ask at the end of the class but I definitely will go back when I can!

LVAC has several locations around town, but the lake mead/ rainbow location has a certain charm. It's two stories, but feels extra spacious. The affordable price point is good, but they don't really do as much for legacy customers. This gym also tends to get busy, so you really have to time and come during off peak hours depending on how hard you want to train. Two big reasons I love LVAC and this location is that they are open 24/7/365 which means no matter if it's a holiday or anything else going on, I can always count on LVAC to be open for me. The second unique thing is that they have an indoor running track. I wish more gyms had them and I take advantage in the winter when I'm not able to run outdoors. Overall it's a decent gym and great bang for the buck. If you're looking for a more curated option, then there are other gyms in town. If you're looking for a large gym experience and don't mind being part of a crowd then LVAC can get you what you need

The gym did lack new equipment all throughout. The gym lack true customer service from its management and staff that I experienced on 2 different occasions. The gym does have some safety issues and concerns that need to be addressed immediately. For I was affected by the lack of the conditions of them. The gym does offer what seem to be amazing classes though. If that is your route to getting fit. The bathrooms need an upgrade and what I noticed no matter what location I went to. The machines and bathrooms were always dirty. Unfortunately my overall experience was not pleasant. However, I encourage you to have your own or try out the new club call CRUNCH thats not too far away from this location or a private gym. Whatever your choice is. Enjoy your workout in this New Year!
