Other gyms please take note. - Owners: 10/10 Both powerlifters who clearly take pride in their gym - Trainers: 10/10 I have only trained with Isaac, but he has been incredible. I've struggled with injuries and he knows how to adjust form/exercise to safely push yourself until you're wrecked lol. Also great help with rehab exercises. - Staff: 8/10, mostly everyone is really 10/10, but there is one guy who is like an NPC. If you don't ask one of his pre-programmed questions, he has no idea what to do. It hasn't been an issue for me, but I think this is where one of the negative reviews is coming from. - Water: 8/10, this is a huge one for me where LV struggles over and over, they at least use a filter. If you are not a power lifter, I can see how this gym would be intimidating. At Powerhouse, I'm probably in the bottom 15-20% fitness-wise, but at other gyms I would probably fall more in the middle. Don't let it stop you from giving it a try, they really maintain an encouraging, supportive environment!

I thought I was lucky to find a Power House Gym. I wanted to train everyday while on vacation and show my son what a real gym looks like. On top of paying guest fees for two people for 4 days, I had intentions of buying him at least $300 of merchandise as well. It literally took me 30 minutes to drive from my Air BnB to that gym. The moron at the front desk took his sweet time having a personal conversation with someone and when he finally decided to pay me and my son any attention, he simply told me to scan the QR code and then kept on with his conversation. I don't know if he was one of the owners or not, but this type of customer service is just poor. I came with the intention of spending a lot of money in that business but after dealing with that I just refuse.

It's smaller, private and not super busy like most gyms. I can get my workouts done without waiting for equipment. I really appreciate the thoughtful touches, like the infrared sauna, nice showers, toiletries for women, hair ties, and the locker system. You can tell a lot of care went into creating a nice gym environment. There are a couple of male employees who are always kind, friendly, and welcoming. They talk to me, acknowledge me, and make the experience feel positive. However, my experience with some of the female staff has been the opposite. They often come across as rude, or unwelcoming. When I walk in, they typically do not say hello unless I say hello first. I genuinely love the gym itself and think the facility is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I just wish the customer service matched the quality of the space.

Early morning or night hours usually mean less people, afternoon hours can sometimes be busy and mean you'll have to adjust your workout based on what equipment is available. They keep it dark and low lit in the gym which I enjoy so I am less focused on my aesthetics or other people and more focused on getting in my workout and feeling accomplished. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a boutique gym, that is never overly crowded.

And there are definitely more doorways to get to the different studios, so I was definitely a little lost at first. Tons of lockers and storage areas. The locker rooms are really nice, super clean, and have amenities for getting ready just like the other locations. It looks like the location is supposed to have a café inside... I don't know if that's something that they're adding in later or was previously there, but there is this little area that looks like it's a eating area (I could be wrong.) there's a lot of places to hang out when waiting for class to start. I took a candlelight Yin with Timberly. And to this day, it's still one of my favorite Yin classes that I've ever taken. It was absolutely amazing, I felt like I was floating when I got out of that class. Super relaxing, she is such an amazing instructor and has one of the best energies I've ever had in an instructor ever. She also did a sound bath at the end of class and it was transcending. I absolutely recommend her candlelight Yin Class! You will leave feeling renewed. I really like that the studio is in a separate area where it has its own hallway that's closed off so you're not hearing any of the outside noise. I also really love that Tru Fusion Summerlin does their fitness on the lawn classes. I do those quite frequently and it is a really amazing experience! And they give you a really awesome variety of different types of classes to try out! After six months i have to say it's probably the best decision I have ever made. I was a semi pro soccer player for many years and I know what it means to train hard. My sessions at vip fitness are really motivating because they challenge me physically but they also make sure I understand how the program is moving forward with a long term progression. It's not just going in to sweat buckets. It's a program designed to get my strength, cardio, balance, coordination, body awareness, mental focus, and more all at its best. I'm so impressed at the level of knowledge these trainers have to offer and share. My trainer has over 22 years experience as a trainer! Every time I walk in that door i feel like the energy just lifts me up and brings out something great. I've improved so much since I've been training here and I honestly can't wait to see how far I can go with it. These guys know how to motivate and educate and it's something that is rare in fitness centers.

This is the break down of what makes this place so special. The trainer is passionate about health and fitness and this shows in everything that he does. He is an excellent listener and takes the time in the beginning to understand your goals and concerns to make sure your fitness plan is individualized for your needs. He is focused, detail orientated, and attentive. You are the only person in the room when you are training which allows him to constantly educate you on how and why your doing all the exercises. This also allows him to constantly make sure you are doing everything safely and with proper form (this is so important). On top of all this he practices what he preaches!! This quality is rare these days, he wont tell you to do something he hasn't tried or implemented into his own life. I love his positive attitude! He constantly inspires and motivates me to be better in every aspect of my life. I am breaking records and goals in my fitness left and right and accomplishing things I never knew I could! Not only will you gain fitness here but you will gain confidence in yourself.....and this leads to accomplishing anything you want in life.
