This box or gym, has by far the nicest members and staff I've ever dropped into. A member even offered me a ride back to my hotel. How awesome is that?! The box is a pretty decent size. Everything is so organized. Water fountains, they sell drinks in the fridge. I was worried it would be bad working out in the Vegas heat but wasn't bad at all. This place is definitely going to be go-to box when I'm in town. read more

Stopped by Nevada Fit West for their 4:30pm class today and was murdered with today's Metcon WOD. We were greeted by Mark and his wife with open arms. The facility is spacious and clean! Nevada Fitness has really been the key for me in turning my health around and living a more positive life!

I held off on a review because I wasn't on board the CrossFit craze, however Coach Royce, Coach Madison, Coach Nick and Coach Corey have a sincere interest in improving your overall health and well being! The community they have build is welcoming for all fitness levels and challenges you to be the best version of yourself! You will not be disappointed! read more

I love this gym! I spent a week in Las Vegas on a business trip and dropped in here every day. The people are super welcoming and fun, the coaching is good, the programming is challenging but not back-breaking. If I'm ever in this vicinity again I'll be sure to come here. read more

I am going to update my review with my progress thus far. Do keep in mind that I have been attending CrossFit at this Box for exactly 3 months and workout only 3x a week here. To have progressed as quickly as I did is pretty fantastic. Left side is the weight I began at; right side is the weight that I can handle now. 1RM meaning 1 Rep Max. Deadlift 95 lbs 1RM / 165 lbs 1 RM - WOW Bench Press 55 lbs 1RM / 95 lbs 3RM Clean & Jerk 55 lbs 1RM / 95 lbs 1RM Split Jerk 80 lbs 1RM / 105 lbs 1RM Back Squat 95 lbs 1RM / 135 lbs 1RM Before we start our workout, we always take one 200m lap around the building whether rain or shine. If you know me then you know that I am definitely not a runner.. I actually hate it with a burning passion. I used to always be the last one in the door and already be winded. Now, I am usually the first one in the door or Top 5. I love CrossFit because although it can make you feel like a beast, it also humbles you. I could be gifted with Deadlifts, but I need more work on being able to throw up heavier weight on my Front Squats. I love the environment that we are in. I know that during timed workouts, and I feel like I could not possibly do one more rep, there is ALWAYS someone there telling me "You can do it! Pick up that bar! Just one more Kat!" Again, Royce and Chris are AMAZING coaches! One of the best sessions I had with Chris was when we were working on finding our max for the Split Jerk. The motion can be described as "The barbell is driven from shoulders to arms length overhead. The lift is complete when feet are in line and bar is under control." I had assumed that I would only be able to throw 60 lbs over my head.. MAX. Chris was very motivating and kept joking that I needed help adding weights so he threw my 20 lb plates onto the ground and slapped on some 35 lb plates. And.. I did it! He talked me through the whole thing and now I know that I can put at least 100 lbs over my head. Thanks Chris! It is nice to see your coaches doing the workouts with you and always trying to better themselves as athletes instead of standing there and telling you what to do. Your first time is free, class only takes up an hour of your time, and workouts can be modified to your fitness level. So what do you have to lose? Try it out for yourself. read more

The community is amazing. I came in at 307# and really didn't know much about fitness or nutrition . Royce and Chris guided me through all the challenges. All of those from eating habits to training and supplements. I have lost 87 pounds so far and weigh in at 215# and 16% BF from 43% BF,from seize 54 ways to size 38. It didn't come easy but the community and the coaches here are extremely supportive and knowledgable. I highly recommend this box to anyone looking to transform their life and body. All of my lifts gave gone up tremendously in just 1 year. Back squat - 255# to 425# Deadlift - 315# to 515# Clean - 165# to 275# Snatch - 85# to 210# Overhead Squat - 95# to 295# No banded pull ups and I got my bar muscle ups. read more

This is my absolute favorite CrossFit box and group of trainers. I'm 65 and modify everything. Royce, James, and Madison always push me just enough. My results are showing! My upper body strength has improved in just a few short months even though I don't go more than 2-3 times per week. I've visited CrossFit boxes all over town and although there are lots of good coaches and facilities, the atmosphere and culture at CrossFit Mountain's Edge can not be matched. read more

Visiting Las Vegas? This is a great gym to drop-in! Every coach that I had during my week on business in LV was truly awesome. Inspiring, helpful, thoughtful. If you're lucky enough to live in this area, go see them!! Here's what I thought was so great: two coaches in one class I attended so the coach being trained was learning from the owner Royce about how to improve my form - awesome! One coach worked w me on handstands away from the wall (my first time - coaches at home for whatever reason don't work on that). Fun! And they worked on grip on my power cleans since I have an elbow tendinitis. It helped! Plus, free coffee, bananas, apples. Clean facility, mostly non-drop ins. Good quality equipment and enough of it. A great experience! Oh, and I'll be 60 this month, have done one beginner level CF competition. read more

I absolutely love this gym. The coaching, the community, and the members. I am enjoying meeting my fitness goals and pushing myself further. The coaches push me. I am so grateful I found this community. read more

Super friendly coaches and members. They were more than willing to let us drop in to do 18.5 during one of their normal class times. Super clean facility. 2 bathrooms. 2 showers separate from the bathrooms. Overall excellent experience! read more

To make you inner athlete your outer athlete, CFME has been an integral part of the athletic aspect of my health pursuits. There are multiple dimensions of training available such as: mobility, strength, endurance, and dietary information, combined to create an overall healthy, high performing athlete. The coaches are well educated and have a passion for the sport of cross fit. Any age or fitness level is welcomed; it is never too early or too late to start the transformation. "Kids Cross Fit" is fun for my kids as well as instills in them great athletic habits that will lead to a lifetime of health and fitness. Lastly...I love going to get GAINZ! read more

This gym has been absolutely life changing for me. The coaches are amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about what they do, workout modifications and injuries. I started CrossFit with no background at all. I had no workout routine and no healthy eating habits. My favorite thing about CrossFit is that I don't have to think about or plan out the workouts. I've seen my body change in the last 6 months in ways I've never experienced. I've lost inches, and weight but more than anything I gained this new body positivity where I appreciate how strong I am and how far I can push my body. I'm my own competition. I love the community at this gym as well. Everyone is so supportive. I would absolutely recommend this gym. read more

Had a meeting in town and a couple of hours to kill before my flight so this box had perfect class times for the middle of the day. They host a couple of quick kettlebell bootcamp classes between noon and 1pm and they are quick burn workouts! The coaches were extremely nice and welcoming and the other gym members were very welcoming too. The box is well equipped with all kinds of great equipment and there is plenty of space. I will definitely stop by again when I have another opportunity! read more

This place is amazing! I purchased a couple months for my adult son to try out. He has felt like a part of the CrossFit family since he walked in the door there. In fact, he has not missed a day of working out since joining. He loves the staff, the other people working out and the environment. This place is a winner for sure! read more

One of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest, & coolest (temperature regulated lol) box I've even been to. The coach was right there in the class correcting and making adjustments for you, we worked on Cleans. That service made the workout really personal. Communicating with them via email was easy, I was setting up a free trail. Pros: they have a shower room. Cons: na for this first visit read more

Great facility. Close to the strip. I'm a level 2 Coach myself and I've worked w many Coaches so I know what I want. I like the way Royce teaches as I've known him for over 8 years. By far my favorite gym in Vegas. The owner and staff are top notch. It's so nice to find a gym with educated coaches teaching the classes. I joined about a year and a half ago as a beginner. I was in Vegas for work and decided to try dropping into a different crossfit gym. I chose Crossfit Mountain's Edge and was really happy I did. The gym has plenty of parking, I paid for my drop-in online and was super easy. The workout and class were well run, the box was well laid out and had good equipment. We had a spicy little workout for Snatches and DU's that I really enjoyed. Their drop-in fee was a t-shirt purchase, which is perfect because I already planned to buy one. Royce, the owner, was very personable, knowledgeable, and great to workout with. I would highly recommend this box to anyone looking for a drop-in or new box to call home. read more

A little over a year ago I walked into this gym not knowing a single thing about CrossFit. Royce, the owner, welcomed me in and has taught me so much. This gym has defiantly changed my life, it's like one big family. Everyone's always pushing each other, they have definitely pushed me past limits I thought I had. It's amazing to see how much you can change. Wouldn't think about going anywhere else. read more

This is the ultimate CrossFit location in Las Vegas. If you aren't interested in CrossFit then you are always more than welcome to come during open hours and do what you need to do. This is the best place to start. No matter what your fitness level you can start here. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and everyone is welcoming and helpful. Small classes, lots of one on one attention, modifications as needed, nutrition seminar, good programming and scheduling with ample open gym times. Personal training by appointment. The facility has bathrooms and showers and enough space inside and outside. Personally, Royce has helped me so much in my fitness and mental game. Thank you! read more

Dropped in during my stay in Vegas. Coach Royce was very welcoming right off the bat. He made sure I knew where everything in the box was prior to starting. He gave everyone in the class attention during the strength WOD and the actual WOD - correcting form when needed. I could tell he was assessing my experience during the strength portion (find 3RM front squat) and applied that to how he coached me during the WOD. During the last round, he told me and another guy to go AMRAP instead of the set amount of reps in the EMOM because he knew we could be pushed to that point without sacrificing form. This is a sign of an excellent coach. I'll definitely be back to this box next time I'm in Vegas. read more

Everyone needs to check this Crossfit gym out. They recently opened and went in to see what was going on. I met Royce and had a workout with him today. He was awesome! Very professional and knew what he was doing. It is a brand new facility and very clean. I cant wait to go back and get another workout in. I would give them 6 stars if I could. read more

Amazing place to workout and stay healthy. Fun workouts and great coaches. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

My first time doing CrossFit and Coach James helped me make it a breeze! Had so much fun learning the different positions and getting on an Assault Bike. Highly recommend CrossFit Mountain's Edge to anyone looking to try it out for the first time or even ones looking for a home base. There are some cool kids here! read more
