The budgeted price we were given was exceeded by more than 100% as many items that were required we're not ordered or ordered incorrectly, the schedule was repeatedly delayed with weeks going by with no work performed, and the designer was clearly in over her head not knowing what bullnose tile or shoe molding were, for example. On several occasions work was performed contrary to instructions and we were fortunate enough to catch it early enough to correct. In some cases, we did not. We ended up having to fire Decasa Designs and take other steps to complete the project. We do not recommend Decasa Designs - at least for nothing more than the simplest of designs and then we'd recommend you get a professional contractor to manage the project. A quoted 6 week job ended up being 6 weeks of work but that took place over almost 6 months of not having our home. Ouch!

TLDR: I would not hire this company. Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I also have to hand it to BJ who did the installations. We spread this project over 3 orders a couple weeks apart to take time figuring out what we needed. Each time, BJ was thorough, thoughtful, and fast. We have black windows throughout the house, which is new for us and made design selections a little trickier, but the results are outstanding. Wil and team went above and beyond to get the colors exactly right and ensure everything was measured and designed to spec for each window. There are way more decisions to make than you realize, so having someone knowledgeable to walk us through the options made all the difference. The results speak for themselves. I wish the photos did them justice! They're even better in person. We went with white 2-inch faux wood blinds (they look awesome with the black windows!), sheer black solar roller shades, and extra-large wood plantation shutters custom painted to match the window trim. They are stunning.

Needless to say, I am absolutely thrilled with the result. I told Jeffrey before work began that I wanted to make no decisions and that came to pass thanks to his detailed plans. The contractors worked from those plans and I have only the highest praise for them, too. Jeffrey's plans combined three rooms into one large space and included replacing the cellar stairs (where I had to duck my head going down) with a circular stair case that is just perfect. The final result was far removed from my initial discussion with Jeffrey but his design was so perfect that I quickly deferred to him on virtually everything he wanted to do. He included a large island in the kitchen which I had not envisioned and behind it he added a three-pane glass sliding door that lets a ton of light into the room and that I use all the time to get to my deck. He also designed a garden window that projects outward by about eighteen inches and is full of plants. I first learned of Jeffrey because he designed the kitchen of my next-door-but-one neighbor. I loved it and I love mine even more. I'm so happy with the result. The work also included a new floor in the attic space and opened up the den to the new kitchen.
