We hired Decasa Designs for design work and then to manage the project which she told us she was…read morecapable of doing.. This was for a major condo remodel in Midtown and it did not go well. The budgeted price we were given was exceeded by more than 100% as many items that were required we're not ordered or ordered incorrectly, the schedule was repeatedly delayed with weeks going by with no work performed, and the designer was clearly in over her head not knowing what bullnose tile or shoe molding were, for example. On several occasions work was performed contrary to instructions and we were fortunate enough to catch it early enough to correct. In some cases, we did not. We ended up having to fire Decasa Designs and take other steps to complete the project. We do not recommend Decasa Designs - at least for nothing more than the simplest of designs and then we'd recommend you get a professional contractor to manage the project. A quoted 6 week job ended up being 6 weeks of work but that took place over almost 6 months of not having our home. Ouch!
