What a cool store! I stopped in for a Yelp event, and I'm so glad I know it's here now. While I was there, I picked up a small roll of wrapping paper. They have so many unique things from toilet paper and personal care items to large jugs of laundry detergent where you can bring your own container to fill up there. I will definitely be back to explore more (and the staff were super friendly!).

I actually like seeing more sustainable stores opening up. While I am not completely on the sustainable movement, I do like certain items. I'm a product lover! From face care to body care, I love products of this kind. I stopped by after walking up and down Vine. I was greeted by Eric who was very helpful and answered the questions I had regarding the products. I had also been to Koko and wanted to see how they compared. I looked around and then decided to try hand soap as I love hand soaps and will try different brands. They have two types of soaps which are foaming soap and regular. I do not like foam soap so I went with regular soap. I went for the lavender scent. To be honest, I did not care for their soap as much as I liked the one from Koko. Their soap literally comes out the pump like water. The first time I went to use it I squirted soap everywhere because I didn't realize it was that viscous. It does thicken once it's lathers but the fact it's so thin is a little weird to me. It also didn't really smell like lavender. It smells like what the products to make soap smell like. Like if you went to a soap factory and smelled the basic soap smell, that's what it smelled like. It's not a bad smell but it's not lavender. It just smells like soap. Lol! *shrugs* Overall, Simply Zero has good customer service but I wasn't a fan of the one product of theirs that I tried. I certainly liked Koko's hand soap better.

I love that we have a no waste local store in Cincinnati. They have a wonderful product (lotion, soap, etc) refill station where you can bring your own clean jars and fill them up. If there is something no waste to purchase, you'll find it here! The store is really clean and the staff is helpful. The only con to me is really the price. Obviously, no waste products tend to be more expensive. However, many things aren't even marked with a price. That's obnoxious. I come here fairly regularly and plan to keep going so.

Every dress, necklace, shirt, pair of jeans (okay I shop there a lot) that I wear from Sloane/prance around town in, always scores me major compliments! I had called her to request her going to Walgreens to pick up some Paypal prepaid cards for my new-hires, and me being overseas it would be impossible to accomplish that from here, or get them paid. Sue said she could do it "tomorrow" as I explained it was rather urgent and I offered to pay a premium for it. Sue cordially agreed that it was fine and that she would send me a link to pay by Paypal. Well I went to bed knowing I had secured help, and that I needn't look further for a stateside concierge to get them to me. Bottom line, I woke up the next day expecting to find the Paypal link to pay her, and instead get an email sent hours later by her that she would like to inquire more about my company and what did we do, where were we from, etc. At this point I knew her "promise" to help was worthless, but I played along anyway, describing our certified translation services and remote workers who get paid by Paypal, hoping I could 'reinstate' her offer by pleasing her investigative tendencies and suspiciousness. After my prompt reply I did get a response that she was 'too busy' to do it for us, and told us all 'good luck'. I reiterated to her that when a concierge service or any critical service for that matter agrees on a project or service and that people are counting on them, it is important to fulfill the tasks agreed upon, especially when knowing you are dealing with a customer in a bind so to speak. So, we were lied to, counted on her falsely and had to make last minute arrangements elsewhere costing us another day, and our employees an additional three days due to the approaching weekend. Definately avoid this errand service if you plan to count on someone. Secondly, dealing with suspicous people who ask questions about you and your company during the time they were to be accomplishing your task and only after confirming an appointment is just the opposite of trustworthy or reliable. Sorry Sue- but companies in need of a concierge have to look elsewhere for reliability. Good luck-
