I visited Simply Spring yesterday with some friends. It wasn't what I expected...older and work shoes and bags... but there were some gems, mostly in housewares and a decent selection of artwork if you're looking for that. This is by far my favorite thrift in Tampa. The proceeds go to families/victims of domestic violence, so shopping for a good cause? Uh yes. So cheap, good quality items from clothing to electronics to furniture, decor and more. There are new things put out on the floor EVERYDAY. The staff (Kat, Brian and Nic) and volunteers here are BEYOND helpful and friendly. I am so appreciative of the hard work and dedication to supporting our community. Did I mention there's sales like all the time? I follow on Instagram and I am so surprised at all the sales they're doing with items already being so cheap (seriously like $2 shirts & 50 cent onesies for infants) I've bought several brand new items here with tags still on them. Just stopped by to see if this thrift store had anything to offer because my friends and I always stop by a thrift store when visiting a new city. Let me tell you, the staff there gave us attitude and mentioned on how the FREE donations is how they make money. We know that is how you make money but to tell us in a condescending way was an entire turn off. We left and told them they just lost a sale because they were blatantly rude. It was an older white man collecting donations that said that to us. Please learn how to talk to paying customers who is paying for the FREE stuff you get! read more

I have been shopping here for years but I think they need better management lately. I have noticed that they have also lost most of their regular customer base as well. The inventory has really gone downhill. They have a boutique section with dirty chico's and Ann Taylor. The boutique store used to have high end items like St.john , Gucci, Ferragamo , etc. or at least clean items that were not peeling and falling apart. Honestly you cannot tell the difference in boutique shoes and the regular shoe section. They are all dirty and worn. I will not be driving across town to shop here until they make some changes. read more

My husband and I were thrift store shopping because we are putting a place together for my Mother and Sister. We happened upon this thrift store and didn't know what to expect. Unbeknownst to us, they were having a 50% sale that day. Every item in the store was half off. This is apparently something they do monthly. We were there before closing, so a lot of items had been sold, but we still ended up filling our hands with great finds. The Manager was so incredibly nice. He went above and beyond to help. We had a wonderful conversation. I had no idea that the proceeds go to help support survivors of domestic violence to rebuild their lives. You can tell that the people working there genuinely care about the cause. I have never encountered that before with thrift stores that are aligned with charitable organizations. We plan to donate there exclusively and stop in whenever we are able. I recommend checking them out. So being a thrifty growing up you come across many different places and experience among the employees some good , ok and horrible.At Simply Spring on willow you get a AMAZING shopping experience that is one of a kind. All the staff is very helpful , polite and nice, also there honest about the prices and the quality of the product especially used electronic items - which they test to make sure that there in working order. Pricing on clothing is great especially there 99c deals and great quality. My favorite is always checking out there great selection of furniture. If your looking for a thrift store that really gives back to the community this is the place to shop. read more

The merchandise here is pretty average for a thrift, although the prices are hard to beat. The employees, however, act like you're imposing on their day and offending them with your presence. Kris - the "manager" or primary checkout lady - is about as unpleasant as they come. She'll hiss at people if she doesn't like how they're standing in line, complain about selling items at the marked price because she feels it should have been higher, and ignores people who are trying to check out because she'd rather talk on the phone. Don't bother coming on the days when she opens the store, either - the doors will stay locked 15-20 minutes after it's supposed to be open, simply because she doesn't feel like coming over and opening them up! I thought I would walk down to check this thrift store out because my apt is about a 7-10 minute walk. Lets just say I got there opened the door, and instantly knew this was a bust. I still gave it a chance, walked in everything was messy, not sized, & couldn't really tell what the prices were, basically a hot mess! read more

I love this place! Having only been to their boutique on Swann and Henderson, this was my first stop at their larger location. I found tons of great stuff and found the staff to be very friendly. They have a great furniture selection as well. I will be back again real soon. read more

Nice little thrift store! Found a awesome stroller for my son for $5 they have wonderful prices. They might not have a extremely large selection but it's worth your time to stop in. This place is so fun! Hands down, the best thrift store prices in Tampa. It has gotten so much nicer under the new staff/management team. The merchandise is better and the store as a whole is a LOT cleaner and more organized. I always find cute clothes and get great deals. (Sometimes they have 99 cent clothing days, which are my favorite!) They even have electronics, phone chargers, and headphones. The staff and volunteers are always friendly and do their best to help you find what you're looking for. I recommend coming here on a day when you have time to look around. You'll have a more relaxed shopping experience and you'll be there when they bring out new racks of clothes and items to look through. read more

A middling-sized Thrift Store operated by the Spring Domestic Abuse Shelter in conjunction with its boutique store on Henderson in South Tampa. This store has more of the true thrift/bargain items, while the boutique offers the higher grade designer clothes and high quality furnishings. This has the more typical mix of well-worn items in aisle of racks and odd pieces of furniture. It is very convenient to donate here at the drive up loading bay and staff/volunteers help unload for you. read more

I love this shop. The prices are amazing and they have tuns of quality clothes. Proceeds go to The Spring domestic violence shelter for women so shopping there is for a good cause too. I got two bags full of clothes for only 13 bucks. Nice stuff too! I highly reccomend this store. I'll be going more often. read more

I love this place! I go just about every week to see what's new. This place has a great cause and yhou get to know the people that shop and work there. By all means, please remember this is a THRIFT store. You will have to look through a LOT of stuff to find your gems and what you like. I've moved multiple times and every time i need something for my home I come here FIRST. They always reasonable prices, and for the bargainers, they also run great random sales. Between the store and the boutique, its my favorite place to browse around when i have time in between classes, or when i want to avoid running errands :) read more

Store does have good prices on clothes, but they have limited amount of inventory and it is very unorganized and dirty. I wanted to purchase 1 item, and rude elderly volunteer asked me to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come from back room and ring me up because that person was the only one allowed to use the register. That's a little strange and not the best way to treat a first time shopper. I am not planning to return, too busy to stand around and wait for anyone. read more
