As the name suggests, Zoup - they sorta specialize in soups I suppose, (as well as other things I'm sure) with seasonal offerings/variations. I initially wanted carrot and ginger but I opted for the carrot-mango-orange variant. What's cool is that they offered to add some fresh ginger in as well. Win! Win!! In addition to my soup, I also ordered a Panache which is just a beer with a lime soda topper that's pretty refreshing. The staff was very courteous and helpful as well as linguistically patient with me as we both tried to communicate with one another. The ambiance is traditional Cafe European with a nice airy seating area to people watch without feeling like people are on top of you. The Tomato Basil soup is über yummy. The Miso soup isn't too shabby either. The spicy Mango Spinach Ciabatta is my "go-to" sandwich. I always grab it if it's available. The Gorgonzola Pear sandwich and Tomato Mozzarella Ciabatta are pretty delicious too. Overall, this is a great little take-away shop with delicious healthy eats and very friendly and fast service. Fun to talk to them about travel, our mutual love of rollercoasters and science and the recent World Cup. The son loves Yasmine Lamal. The dad is Team Messi. Plain. Smoke. Garlic. Chili. White Wine. Red Wine. Blue cheese. Goat. Sheep. Truffle. Add toppings. It comes with pickles and pearl onions. Pickles and melted Raclette cheese. Unbelievably delicious. Add more toppings. Small potatoes, bread or mashed potatoes. So good! Started with the truffle and the red wine with the works, potatoes, mashed potatoes and cubes of bread. The truffle was my favorite of the cheeses and both the mashed potatoes and small potatoes were delicious. I think at the end we tried all of the cheeses but the original. We were stuffed!!
