In Davos Platz there's only one great Chinese restaurant. This is the real deal! We started with…read moreHit and Sour Soup which was full of delicious ingredients including glass noodles, fungi, egg and broth. The spring rolls were crispy and dipping sauce sweet. The Shrimp in Curry was full of large perfectly cooked shrimp in a tasty sauce. The Szechuan chicken was absolutely fabulous ( my favorite) and the pan fried noodles were a close second favorite. The fried rice was not too greasy and also great. Our waiter was excellent and all in all this was a great meal.. if you come here try to get a reservation first since at 8 pm it's totally booked and no table for you. In the words of a wise ancient Chinese Philosopher" no tickee no washee" Or in this case: " No reservations no eatee "!! Try this one you'll like it!

Very poor service: old man running the restaurant was highly impatient and wife scammed us on price conversion -- tip: they only accept cash. The value is terrible. The equivalent of 60USD (50CHF) for a grease-soaked plastic container of fried rice (incredibly bland and tasteless) with a count of (5) small strips of chicken and a heart-attack-inducing greasy noodle dish, served with more salt than is in the Atlantic ocean. We tried to be hospitable and nice to the owner, but they responded with indifference, short temper, and annoyance. Insanely rude service, especially from the chef. Yeah, I understand, the prices in Switzerland are crazy expensive, but I wouldn't feed this food to my dog. Not worth $30 a dish. My tip? Don't go. Unless you want to be insulted and go to the least hospitable place in Murren.

This was the only Asian restaurant we went to on our European trip. I'm glad to see such an…read moreauthentic Chinese restaurant in Luzern. All of us had a bowl of spicy beef noodle soup. The spice level is pretty good - the owner offers levels 1 through 10 and we felt that the level 10 was a good satisfying level of spicy for those of us who are used to eating very spicy food. Those with more delicate tastes can opt for no spice and still have a very tasty bowl of beef noodle soup. The flavor profile is good - exceptional for what one can find in this part of Europe. It was very satisfying. We also ordered the cold chicken with dipping sauce - its mild taste is a good balance against the spice in the noodle soup. The star of our meal was the traditional chicken in clay pot. It is cooked exceptionally well and the flavors are subtle, but multi-layered and complex. Again, a good balance with the spices in the noodle soup. We ordered some of the fruity tea drinks with little pearl bubbles on the bottom. The flavor is a little bland and we wouldn't recommend it.

Within an hour the whole place was full, and rightfully so. The menu is very expansive. Over 100 items. Started off with a bowl of chicken and sweet corn soup. It was delicious. Umami with the contrast of the sweet corn. Would def recc. Dim sum combo platter. Came with a variety of dumplings. It was unfortunately the least favorite item. Could be a different type of region or style of dumplings that I ma not used to, but did not love the taste overall. The wrapper was very thick and flavor was a little bland. Flat Rice noodles: Delicious. Big portion, flavorful, came with lots of protein and veggies. No complaints whatsoever. Forgot the name of it, but the serevr said it was one of the most popular dishes they have. Some sort of beef dish that our server said was North Chinese style. Flavorful, a bit saltier then would like, but not an issue once you pair with rice. Just note that tap water is 2 franks per cup. Overall would definitely come back if I was ever in the area.
