We received your request to see if there was a credit that could be applied to the account in regards to insurance. Unfortunately, public stores does not credit or waive insurance. You do have to cancel your insurance within the appropriate time to not be charged for insurance. Public storage does not refund or credit on services already rendered. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, if you have any further questions, feel free to contact our customer service department at 1-800-567-0759 or you're welcome to contact your property manager at the local number listed for your facility. Thank you. Unacceptable, I should be refunded for something that I already had, and that was my own insurance. Public Storage did not tell me that I would be charged, nor will they give me a refund. What poor management and customer service. What a disgrace.

Customer service goes a long way. We went their twice. Both times the lady working the counter was…read morevery rude. On our second trip, we arrived at 4:50 to drop off some papers to rent a space. Upon arrival the office door was locked and we called several of their numbers to get ahold of someone to hand them the packet. We got to stand in the rain for 9 minutes to be told they are closed to to come back at normal business hours. It would have taken them 1 minute to taken the papers, maybe say thank you and that would have been it. I would rather pay more money at another facility to be treated with respect. There is a reason this place has the lowest rates. You get what you pay for.

If you are looking to store your items somewhere I would not recommend this place. I stored my…read morebelongings here for about 9 months. the unit leaked and ruined a large portion of my belongings. this was discovered upon moving my items out. the management basically in a nutshell accepted absolutely no responsibility whatsoever. told me that since i chose to not purchase their overpriced insurance that i was on my own. offered me three free months at their facility. useless to me as i was moving out. besides that offered NOTHING. i did get a nice letter from the agent babbling on and on about other situations and how long she's been doing this and yad yada yada. Their rates are very high but in line with all the other storage places around. BE WARNED. Climate controlled means NOTHING. if your stuff is stored there you better check and make sure it is not water logged. they have lost a customer for life. be sure to spread the word......your items are not climate controlled here! period.

WARNING!!! PROS:…read moreI've used this place for a little over 2 years. The place is nice, clean, safe and the staff is friendly. CONS: First, they raise the rent at least twice a year; so don't expect to keep the low quote you get when you first sign-up. Second, they do not own up to their mistakes; I made a payment over the phone in which they did not actually process the payment. I got a letter in the mail stating that I am deliquent and that they added a late fee. I called and spoke with the manager to explain what happened and to have him waive the late fee. He refused to refund the fee even with it being their error.
