There was a party atmosphere with balloons up and a big crowd, no doubt wanting to get their last fix of seafood We lucky Elites were fortunate to get a free signature lobster roll, which would usually cost £11 and a glass of bubbly (I got homemade lemonade instead). I've been holding off lobster roll as my US friends in New England have asked me not to partake until I visit them and they would take me for the best lobster roll in the world However, when free food calls, I'm there! The lobster roll was delicious. I was expecting a plain soft roll but B.O.B's have toasted their bread to give added texture, buttered it generously and filled it with a good portion of sweet soft lobster bound together with mayo. Great taste and flavour but perhaps not the largest sandwich in the world I didn't try their lobster mac n cheese and lobster bisque but they did smell fantastic Bye bye B.O.B. and hope to see you back next year. The lobster roll is obviously the signature dish and is more than expected in the construction. Months have gone into perfecting the recipes and the buttered brioche roll is light and compliments the sweet lobster meat (a good amount of lobster in the rolls too unlike most crayfish sandwiches that you get at stores) For me. the ahi tuna tacos are the star and a must have. The glorious crispy taco shells are filled with delicious tuna and a wonderful fresh and vibrant salad. The wasabi dressing is great too (and I don't like wasabi!) Mac n cheese is al dente, creamy and rich with lobster pieces and the pickles are great (even though the liquor that they are stored in looks like a witches pot!) Open every evening Tuesday to Saturday this summer I am sure the queues around Borough market will be for BOB's Lobster. Get yourself down there

Their Yellow Curry is honestly the BEST Thai Curry ever and is so addictive. My husband first told me about the place while looking for places to get lunch after moving offices. He would take it back to his desk and within minutes of the smell wafting around the office everybody else would then run out and get some too. I haven't tasted a Yellow Curry as good as from this van yet despite my desperate search. Of all the food stalls the Market has to offer this is defiantly one to try! EDIT: May 2013. I had to revisit this place while back visiting family and it's still as good as it was. Under $5 for a meal that's better than most restaurants. Love love love!! Yes, Thai Van was tasty, but found it a tad pricey for the amount of food you get, especially considering this is a food truck! At the end of the day, Thai Van is average Thai food, maybe I've been spoiled by NYC's Hells Kitchen though.

You can get cheaper fried chicken but why bother when for a few quid more you can get Mother Clucker! These guys are often dotted around London at places like Street Feast so if you get a chance make sure you give them a try! Hard to come up with 3 tips, but- 1.Don't bother with chips...fill up on chicken 2. Get messy, you don't need a knife, and you have no right to moan about getting messy...it's fried chicken! 3. Go back for more!

We had 2 combo 3 southern fried chicken which I think was 5 strips, Cajun chips which they put hit sauce and lime majo on and a drink all for £9 but with our Yelp discount £2 off. Staff were really friendly food was out of this world. The chicken was moist the covering was amazing. Was not greasy at all. Will def be coming back and recommending it to all our friends. After I started eating an inferior pad thai, I was looking for an alternative at the Whitecross Market. As I walking back to Old Street, I spotted Wholefood Heaven operating out of an old Citroen van. The sign advertised small and large Buddha bowls. Each contained the following: massaman curry with new potato, pineapple & soya chunks; flash steamed garden greens (kale today); carrot & kimchee pickle; shortgrain brown rice; omega seed mix. The Baby Buddha is £4.50, The Big Buddha is £5.00, and you can add Halloumi for an extra £1. These bowls are vegetarian and vegan, wheat & gluten free. And since it was near closing time and they didn't know if my greens would be steamed, they knocked off 50p. I fell in love with the Buddha Bowl at first sight. It was colorful with the seeds, carrot, and kale. And the odors wafting out of the bowl were quite nice. The bowl was sweet with coconut and pineapple. The additional hot sauce gave it a spicy bite with tang. The kale added a crunchy texture and a slight bitter tone. The seeds added a visual punch along with their nutritional value. Overall, it was a tasty, nutritional, and filling dish. I cannot wait to have more. The couple that runs Wholefood Heaven also gives cooking lessons.

Get the spicy sauce, it adds a nice extra kick to the bowl! My only issue with this place is that the rice and massaman curry can get a bit one dimensional stuck at the bottom of the pot. The chilli sauce makes it more interesting, but if you've eaten all your extra veg/halloumi by the time you make it to the last quarter, it's a bit of a hard slog eating all that rice and potatoes. Still, just mix it all up, get it to go and you will not be disappointed. Some of the best vegan food I've had in London!

It intrigued me because I've never heard of naan wrap sandwiches before! What a great idea! I got on line and ordered a garlic naan with tandoori chicken. When I got to the front of the line, they made the naan right before my eyes! They put it in their clay oven and it baked within two minutes. They then filled it with tandoori chicken, yogurt sauce, red onion, lettuce and tomato! The taste was good but not super memorable. All of it needed a little more flavor. I still ate the whole thing but it just needed a flavor kick. You should definitely check this place out though! It's amazing to watch them make the sandwiches. And they accept credit cards as well!
