We were visiting the markets nearby on a Saturday, and nothing was jumping out to me food wise. My missus was getting something from Morty and Bobs when we read the menu.
It had a couple of magic words on them - one of these was brisket. I opted for a brisket Frito pie - although my first surprise came when I found they were real Fritos! Fantastic, I was I was expecting something else to be used instead, so was very pleased to see the authentic ingredient.
The guy working there was really friendly, and the portion was mega. As it was Texas style it was all about the rub rather than the sauce and I dare say I'm converted. The smoke ring was amazing on the brisket, and you didn't need a knife - it just fell apart with a twist if a fork. It was so delicious, and went perfectly with the combination of pinto beans and Fritos.
