They also have a punch card where you get a free cup of chocolate after purchasing 12 cups. They offer free gift wrapping which is a nice touch. Service is friendly. The shop is located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking available.

I was immediately offered a gingerbread chocolate as a free sample. I thanked the woman and continued to browse as I savoured it. Another woman came up to me and offered a sample. "Do you normally give out more than one sample?" I asked her. "No. Did you get one?" she asked me. "Yes, which would explain my answer," I replied. "Oh, I didn't know," she replied. I knocked off a star in my rating for a lack of communication between staff members handling samples. If I weren't so honest, I would have inhaled two gingerbread chocolates. Not horrible, but it wouldn't sit well with me. At the rate that they are going at, they could slowly lose their inventory with dishonest moochers. They need to give the impression that they know what they are doing. I was so happy to see no-sugar-added chocolates. I bought a few of them to taste-test. They were yummy. They were also sold by weight, so it can add up if you feel like getting a pound of chocolates. I went to pay for my items. I didn't know that Lindt has a rewards program, so I signed up for it. I used a credit card to pay for my purchase. Done! Even though a bought a small bag of chocolates, I brought some of them back to Markham. Still yummy. Still deadly. No complaints here. Stopped into We Are Nuts in Saint Paul while in the area. When I say I would have purchased ALL the bags of these fabulous things, I mean it. I didn't realize they shared the same space with Saint Paul Discount Grocery store which I heard about sometime ago, so perfect day to check them both out. It was a one stop shop! It ended up being a little adventure just browsing around. There's a section right when you walk in dedicated to We Are Nuts items and the grocery store side offers lots of items from frozen to cereal to canned items to refrigerated items (to name a few). It wasn't busy so it was nice to be able to freely browse around. I thought prices were affordable, shelves were stocked, and I left with a few items. What really stood out to me was the incredible customer service I received on Saturday, 1/17/26. Both ladies were very nice and kind. Bridgett was especially personable and went the extra mile simply just letting me know how everything worked here while stocking the shelves and even asked how I was doing. The genuine level of customer service really made me feel valued and didn't go unnoticed. Looking forward to future visits.

They are not easy to find these days, but I grew up loving them and I love them as much now. Regina's has been around since 1926, so they are celebrating 100 years in business. They make their own candy, as well as sell imported candy. They have two stores, the one I visited in St. Paul on St. Claire Avenue and one in West St. Paul. You can also order candy online. This little store is a gem and frankly, I'm grateful that I do not live anywhere near either store, or I would be 50 pounds heavier than I am. I do not have the willpower to resist, although I did refrain from their butter English Toffee (aka Butter Brittle ) and fudge. Everytime I have visited, they have been consistently friendly and helpful. I hope they are around in another 100 years!

First day of the 2018 market today - the Blaine Outdoor Farmer's Market is a great old school…read moremarket. To avoid confusion -- this is the Anoka County Grower's Association market that's been around for well over 30 years, not the new indoor market at the Town Square. Today was the first day so there were only 4 vendors and no fruits or veggies yet. There was a baker, a large greenhouse selling various potted plants, a dog treat person, and the president of the association himself...selling organic creams, salves, insect repellents, deodorants, balms, etc. No produce yet. I bought some classic peanut butter treats for my big doggy. And I purchased some homemade strawberry jam for my kid. I also had some great conversations with the vendors. I'll be back again as produce starts to roll in! And I'll take more photos when things start to pop-off later in the summer. Thanks for another great experience! -Daddy Maxx Retro
