Excellent - 5 stars! This review is for the food truck version of the Droolin' Moose Chocolate Shoppe. They show up at locations throughout the entire metro. I caught up with them at the food truck event in the Fleet Farm parking lot, Brooklyn Park. I'm truly amazed by the variety of sweet goodies - everything from chocolates, caramels, and gummies. On the day of my visit they had a whopping total of 46 types of sweets available and ready to satisfy your sweet tooth. It's beautiful too...everything from the delectable looking sweets themselves to the bright colorful packaging. Nice! The workers were super friendly and helpful with narrowing down what the heck I should buy. Fortunately, they also give out samples if you're confused and need help making a choice. Thank you! I picked the "Rustic Blue" chocolate covered blueberries. Wow - good stuff! Not only did they taste great, they looked beautiful. I almost felt guilty eating them...almost! I have a feeling I'd love everything on the list. You can go online and order stuff through the mail and send out gift packages. Awesome! What an incredible addition to the Minnesota food scene. Thanks, Droolin' Moose! Thumbs up!

    The best gooey Carmel ever!

Never ever have I had a better chocolate in my life!!! So smooth, creamy, and perfect to the pallet! The customer service is a match as well, they are so nice and not pushy but helpful. The store is laid out so it is easy to find the different items AND best of all you can sample each one before you buy it! You cannot go wrong.at Droolin Moose!

When my boyfriend and I walked in the lady in the front was having a lively conversation about girl's hockey with what I assumed was a regular local customer. She did welcome us to the store though and I actually liked that she didn't hover over us while we sampled virtually everything since it was our first time. We ended up going for a coffee infused one. She was very friendly when ringing us up giving us a loyalty punch card and suggested we pick up an ice scraper on the way out since it was starting to snow out. The wrapping and tissue paper were cute complete with a gifting tag with their signature moose. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the quality of chocolate. They looked handmade and tasted a tad lower grade than say Belgium but for a local chain it was pretty charming and satisfactory. Will have to visit the other locations to compare.

Pretzel Pip Squeaks...Making quick work of them...Sooo good!

I had the privilege of visiting their Burnsville store last night and was pleasantly surprise how clean and inviting the store is.

Finally settled on butter toffee and dark chocolate truffles. So very good! They were also sampling a fruit creme covered in chocolate, very flavorful!

I could not believe how big the store was. There is so much variety and such a wide selection of both candy and gift items. The candy is incredible. They feature a candy of the month and even offer samples. While we were there, we tried a truffle with raspberry in the center and it was really good. One of my favorite finds was tucked in the back corner...kind of a hidden gem. They have marked down candy that does not quite meet their quality standards. It might look a little different or vary in size, but it still tastes the same. Totally worth checking out. We picked out a variety to bring to bingo including butter toffee, sea sale caramel, peanut butter cups, and a pecan cluster. Everything was delicious. The store itself was very clean, including the bathrooms, and it smelled amazing from the second we walked in. My only callout is that the employees were not especially friendly. We did visit about 45 minutes before closing, so maybe that played a role, but it was not the warm welcome I had expected. So much so that I felt weird taking photos (which is reflected here). All in all, still a really fun stop and absolutely worth the trip.

If i could give this store a -10 I would. I absolutely DO NOT recommend. Horrible product quality,…read moreand complete lack of customer service. I bought one dark chocolate/sea salt/caramel truffle. I left the store with it intending to enjoy my treat. When I tried to bite into it, it was ROCK SOLID. I could not even bite off a piece of it. So I head back to the store & ask the cashier, "Is this supposed to be hard?". He says, "Well it's a truffle. And it came out of the fridge." I say, "It's not cold, it's just hard. I could have broken a tooth on this!". He says, "Oh well." I say, "OH WELL???". He says, "That's what I said." I say, "Well that's not a very good response from a customer service perspective." He says, "I couldn't care less." I say, "Well that's very clear." He ran a credit to my card to refund me. As I'm walking out the teenager that was helping bag things for customers is slamming my former truffle repeatedly against the counter and it's still one solid piece.

I've visited a couple times over the last few weeks and kept hoping there was just some holiday-season burnout fibs here and there but unfortunately this place has just lost it. Guy at the front just stared customers down, didn't talk until someone came up to check out, just plain uninviting. The bulk candy itself seems to be stored improperly, so many containers left open or the lids not on them, so they were all stale and/or flavorless. There's way better places to grab sweet treats in this mall.

I don't…read moreoften treat myself to them because they can be a bit pricey, but honestly if you come here and use their bulk deals to mix n match a bunch of flavors, it's much more affordable (then you only need to use self-restraint at home and have a chocolate or two a day). Or if you aren't picky about flavors, they do have a clearance section that's usually up to 50% off. The employees here are always kind to me when I stop in. Nine times in ten they'll offer you a sample truffle, so if I'm at MoA, I'll admit I usually swing by just to get a free one... LOL. But I also like looking at their seasonal offerings-- you know, all the fun holidays like Christmas and Halloween and Easter and such-- because Lindt does a good job of creating cute tins or boxes for the chocolates to make them extra special (fancy chocolate is already special enough but put it in a cute ornament and that's over-the-top cute!). Yesterday I saw they had an advent calendar that you could choose to fill with whichever truffles you wanted for each day's reveal! Such a clever concept! The shop isn't large but doesn't need to be. There's deep wells of all the flavors in their vibrant colored foil wrappings to browse and drool over. And the smell is amazing.

The associate advised to fill the bag to a specific spot so I did. When I got to the checkout much of it was removed because the bag was to have been flatter not wider.
