"Do you normally give out more than one sample?" I asked her. "No. Did you get one?" she asked me. "Yes, which would explain my answer," I replied. "Oh, I didn't know," she replied. I knocked off a star in my rating for a lack of communication between staff members handling samples. If I weren't so honest, I would have inhaled two gingerbread chocolates. Not horrible, but it wouldn't sit well with me. At the rate that they are going at, they could slowly lose their inventory with dishonest moochers. They need to give the impression that they know what they are doing. I was so happy to see no-sugar-added chocolates. I bought a few of them to taste-test. They were yummy. They were also sold by weight, so it can add up if you feel like getting a pound of chocolates. I went to pay for my items. I didn't know that Lindt has a rewards program, so I signed up for it. I used a credit card to pay for my purchase. Done! Even though a bought a small bag of chocolates, I brought some of them back to Markham. Still yummy. Still deadly. No complaints here. They are now in a quiet area of businesses in the Harriet Island area, which happens to have lots of nice areas to stroll. This is a shop that sells artisan chocolate and honey. They're super proud of their honey and even invited me to check out the buzzing bee boxes out back! This is good honey; I don't have pure honey too often but this is very sweet stuff. The chocolate bonbons filled with honey are great, perfect blend of the two. You can also get chocolate-drizzled honeycomb which is quite intense and is ideally experienced shmushed onto some toast or creatively combined with something somehow, but it is a good idea to do something like that. And they have chocolate that isn't about honey but is interesting, artisan stuff! And you can sample a whole bunch of the flavors! Get bars of the ones you like or maybe do what I did and buy a mixed bag of little pieces and bring them to a party and let people guess what the flavors are. The owner was very nice to talk to here, so if you want to do some shopping that might involve either chocolate or honey I think you will be glad you came here.

I can't tell you how many times I've passed this business without giving a second glance. I thought…read morethis was a bath and body or lotion store. Last Sunday, my best friend and I decided to stop after getting a Wetzel pretzel as it was near the stand and we were in snackoma. We were given a warm greeting by Ashley and she thoroughly walked through the different selections and also gave us a little bit of background about the company. I was pleasantly surprised by the hazelnut chocolate. I typically do not like hazelnut, but theirs is so smooth and tasty. I ended up getting one of the lemon truffles and the strawberry and cream chocolate. I'd say for the chocolate size and pricing it's about seven dollars for the size of your hand. One of the truffles was four dollars. Yes, this is on the expensive side, but it was a treat - and totally worth it. The lemon truffle was one of the best things that I've put in my mouth lately and I will definitely be back. I'm still thinking about how pleasant Ashley's customer service was.

I don't even know how to pronounce the name, haha! Literally I was starring at sheets of chocolate! Greeted and educated by Ashley on the quality of this chocolate. Oh my goshhh, I've never had any chocolate like this in my life! It's high quality, smooth, and flavorful. Just INCREDIBLE! Ashley was kind enough to share a sample which made it hard to pick what to buy because let's be real I wasn't leaving without something. I went with the classic/top seller--milk chocolate hazelnut and a mini mousse caramel truffle. Absolutely delicious! The store is clean, bright, warm, and inviting . Lots to see and honestly, hard to pick, but I see why people come here. When I visit MOA I will be making a stop here. Thank you to Ashley for making it a great first visit.
