Very dissapointing experience overall! WHoever the owner of this business is should better do…read moresomething about the way it's been managed. The customer service is manageable up until the point when you wait for the delivery of your order! It becomes absolutely impossible to reach anyone on the phone since their line conveniently has no callwaiting feature on it! And when you are lucky to get an answer, it's a challenge trying to get these ppl to give you an accurate status of things! And when the order finally arrived...there was wrong items that were ordered and the items that were correct, some were missing parts so the installations guys couldn't even put it together!!! As much as i like the goods, their lack of attention to details is appauling. They need to do better. I will second that there is a very cool guy there that is very nice and helpful and yes the manager really needs to be replaced by a people person that is more competent.

She was friendly, very patient and extremely knowledgeable and we really appreciated her feedback and advice. The space was clean, open, filled with light and the vibe was comfortable. Despite my scent fomo and lack of creativity- I was still able to create a scent that I'm proud of. MIY also offers different creative classes and workshops that Im very interested in checking out for relatively affordable prices. Overall, highly recommend!

Everyone had their own apron to wear and got to choose which oils to incorporate into our perfume. O'Laura did an excellent job giving us a brief synopsis on the history of perfumes, but also broke down the 3 layers of scents. The top notes are usually lighter and floral. The middle notes are the "heart" of the scent and tend to be fruitier. And the base notes are the musky, earthy, woody notes that tend to linger in the room after the perfume is sprayed. This really helped me in choosing which oils to include in my perfume. She walked us through balancing the amount of oils to add. In the end, she did play a game with our table of 12 people or so, which I ended up winning and getting a coupon to use at M.I.Y, as well as a heart-shaped pen. M.I.Y also offers a candle making class, which you can walk in for and do not need an appointment in advance. They also sell other products, such as reed diffusers, candles, wax melts, room sprays, and more. As a plus, we also chose this location to support black-owned business, especially during the month of February,

This place really captured it correctly when it picked its name. You will not forget this place…read moreonce your visit it. You walk in and are transported into many different lands. This place is multi-level and can take quite some time to explore. If you are looking for items for a fairy garden, you will definitely find it here. Honestly, there is so much in here that it can be overstimulating. I know I wandered about this space for quite some time and contemplated buying so many items in here. Everything miniature you can think of is in this space. A lot of the items in here can possibly be used to construct Christmas villages as well. If I remember correctly I was mesmerized by the Ghostbuster items. I just couldn't justify the prices they were asking for some of the items. In short, this place is quirky and definitely worth a stop if you want to grab a unique gift for someone. Or if you have a little one with you that might want to indulge in some make believe.

Forget-Me-Not has been a staple on Main Street since my childhood. I remember it as the "fairy…read morestore," the "fae store," the "fantasy store," the "Lord of The Rings store," and the "bubble store." I haven't been inside for years and upon entering, it felt as if I was walking into a fantasy book. The walls of the retail store alone are fantasy-like due to having real natural rock structures showcasing products. As if it was a small castle jampacked of gifts and treasures. The building is three stories high and each room a different realm of gifts. Just when you start to feel a genre of the area you are shopping in, it changes completely! When I was a child, I would come in here for the fairy dresses, wands, rocks and small spell books. Now I come here to smile at the nostalgic items of my past shopping experiences and detour to the jewelry, garden fae products and vintage clothes. There is something for everyone here, I promise.
